Excellent chicken sandwich and fried zucchini. Amazing bartenderJojo kept an upbeat and friendly service while handling 7 tables and a full bar.

Food good it’s a fun time except when they close early claiming they are dead but have a 4 people at the bar, more coming in and 3 family’s at tables eating.

I love the Alcove the food is great the service is great!! They know me and take care of me!! Allyson and Amy are the best!!

For a hotel based bar/restaurant I really loved it. The last time I was there they had live music. Lots of TVs for the sports bar feeling. I have been there 3 times recently and was pleased each time.

In the 11 minutes I was here… The entire time of which I did not get a drink for the bartender promised to be right back and then proceeded for the next 10 minutes to restock silverware, take out trash, instead of waiting on people who didn’t even get their first drink yet… I also saw was your drop a bunch of to go containers on the floor take the top one off throwing the garbage and think that was OK and put them back on the shelf… When the basic boring DJ karaoke dude playing basic music at a too loud of the volume to enjoy or talk to each other I believe I like loud music I like to be able to hear it but this is just an obnoxious environment I guess it’s just a trapping for people that have no place to go because they don’t have a car because of the hotel next-door but if you’re from Pittsburgh there are 90 million better places from this one

Walked in lunch time only like 4 customers in the place sat at the bar for 11 minutes, no one even acknowledged me the lone patron at the bar during lunch time, would recommend trying elsewhere

Solid. Definitely wasn't on my radar. No need to break the mold when you can cook American bar food right with fresh ingredients. I'll be back for sure.

I am not someone to leave a review, but today I am solely for Jojo, the most iconic server we have ever had. We came in not having any expectations of how the night would go and Jojo showed us a damn good time. From your friends in Canada, GO STEELERS!

Just spent two weeks at the adjoining hotel. And lots of nights at The Alcove.

Loved the entertainment. Trivia. TV’s Pool table. Bubble hockey and darts

All but one waitstaff made us feel welcome/taken care of. And JoJo rocked the best :)

From Greensburg about to catch a flight with my family. Decided to try this place out and it was great. Food was amazing and service was good!

This was my first time to The Alcove and I will most likely return. My boyfriend had the Jerry Garcia sandwich. The hippie sauce, which we don't really know how it's made, was very tasty. I chose the Chicken Artichoke Panini and I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches I've had. The combination of chicken, red peppers and Asiago spinach spread was amazing. The homemade chips were hit or miss. Some tasted good others like they had been fried in old oil. I still ate most of them. I wish I got the name of our bartender/server. He was fantastic! We had a party of 8 and he made sure our beverages were always filled and took our orders and delivered them quick and with a great attitude. He not only had customers at the bar but also in the restaurant area and it looked like everyone was taken care of.

First time at this place. Hidden gem with ample parking. Connected to hotel if you’re staying. Food was delicious. We ordered a buffalo chicken salad and buffalo chicken wrap. The food was phenomenal. Will definitely return.

I ordered the fish sandwich, in my opinion the components of it are good but the fish to bread ratio is a bit low so it mostly tastes like bread. I also think it could use more sauce and some acid like lemon included. Fries were good.
