Service at this Cafe was great, and the coffee was great as well. The food however wasn't quite worth the price for the portion size or the flavors. The paninis greens were a little too grilled for mine and my partners taste, and the deviled eggs had salmon on them that wasn't quite giving the freshness it needed to. Coffee was fantastic though, and had a cute little design in it. Would def come back for the coffee.

understanding that the café gets very busy at times I was happy to have made a reservation for two. The hostess and servers were friendly, polite, and efficient. The kale chicken salad was abundant and flavorful. The vegetarian rapini Panini with side salad were enjoyable. To my liking, the coffee is robust.
As always, the food and service were wonderful. The only down side was that it was chilly, given winter temps and winds outside the large glass walls. Of course, the cafe folks could do nothing about Mother Nature out there.
This is perfect for a business lunch. It's upscale without being pretentious, the food is fantastic as well as the service.
I have tried this cafe twice now. I ordered the special braised pork belly and was shocked with how little food I received for about $25. I was really excited too when I heard the visiting chef was serving pork belly (one of my favorites). I then tried the cafe again a month later and ordered a duck dish. I was kindof shocked by the presentation of the dish (the duck was shredded) and I still was not full when I left. I would maybe stick to pastries and tea here instead of sitting down to eat lunch. Everything tasted fine but the presentation and quantity was not worth the price.

To be honest, the food was terrible. My chicken schnitzel was impossible to eat. It was over cooked and hard.
The Café Carnegie was a great lunch while visiting the museum! The server was very friendly! She recommended the chicken pot pie which was DELICIOUS!! This spot is a high recommend when you're visiting the museum or just around the area!

Great Atmosphere, convenient location. Perfect to have a lovely meal before or after touring the museum.
Very small portions, though the food was good, I would not come back for it. Rather disappointed.

I wish you would add omelettes or frittatas to the menu. Also pulled pork sandwiches would be a nice addition. Please bring back the cinnamon rolls. Thanks.
Nice spot to recharge after walking the galleries

An excellent experience--good food, ambiance, immediate seating despite our arrival before our reservation --was diminished by having to wait a loooooong time to get our check. Did she forget us? Had to ask the host to find her for us, and we still had to wait.
