The Colombian Spot is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The maduros con tocineta and the pineapple and coconut juice are from another world! Ana is a great server, which makes coming here an awesome experience. 10/10 would recommend.

My favorite restaurant! This is a must try here in Pittsburgh. I always order the tostones with guacamole and the Arepa Paisa. Ana is the sweetest and always giving us the best service! I love this place!

The environment and food is phenomenal. I definitely recommend the beef empanadas, simple but so good! Especially with the cilantro sauce. Harold our server was fantastic! He was always accommodating our needs and did a great job. The place overall is such a great place to come get a quick bite to eat or some drinks!

I've known Colombian Spot for about 9 years when I started at a small empanada stand in the strip district. The food is still of good flavor and represents Colombian food well, however the service was regrettable.Today 7 people arrived, no one greeted us when we entered. The waiters saw us standing for 5 minutes at the door and no one told us if there was a table available nor was there a friendly smile to invite us to continue.I had to go ask if we could have a table and someone named Harold attended to us without any shame about what happened even though I myself pointed out that we were not pleased with the welcome. The atmosphere becomes very boring if there is a football game on the televisions all the time that no one is watching. I suggest you show videos alluding to sites in Colombia and images related to cultural traditions. Finally I think it would be ideal to have Colombian waiters or people who really know Colombian food to discuss the options.Today was not a bad experience but it could have been much better.

Excellent place! You walk into music playing which is not too loud and very festive. It is clean and bright looking with all the hangings along the walls. Service was great Harold was pleasant and nice to speak with about food and the establishment. Food was excellent I had the Briskarepa with Yuka fries. Sauces were simple and flavorful. Nothing was too spicy for me. Definitely a return for me. I also had two chicken empanadas. I was thoroughly stuffed. This place is located on the main street in South Side so parking may be a challenge at times but you can find it in the area just look.Vegetarian options: Looks like lots of choices. I'm sure I will try in the future.Parking: There was lots for me at 11:30 am.
