Excellent place. Great food, friendly staff. Must return soon!

Staff was very friendly and kind. However, the food was not that good. It truly lacked seasoning. The Empanadas we got one of them was not cooked all the way through so when my husband and I went to bite into it was completely frozen. Also, not sure what was up with the rice when we went, but a lot of our rice was hard. For the price of the bowls and I truly expected better.

Got the vegetarian bowl. Majority of it was beans and rice as other reviewers said. No seasoning, but the aji is good (get at least 2 if you want flavor and spice with the bowl). The simplicity of the veggie bowl did feel like something you could make at home for a third of the price. May need to try the empanadas instead next time. Passionfruit juice was good.

The salad is not the best, a lot of paprika and spinach, the staff needs to be trained for presentation and preparation, I give it a 1

This is the perfect little lunch spot! Ditch the chains nearby and stop here instead. I got the empanada combo which truly can’t be beat in terms of a quick, delicious, comforting bite. Getting to pick my own sauce was an added bonus. I look forward to coming back and trying out more of their menu! This empanada combo is a real bang for your buck, though!

The quality of the food is not worth the price. Some food items were cold. Other items tasted like they were reheated; definitely not fresh. This place is going down hill. They had better quality food when they only had one location.

Paid $14…they barely filled my bowl halfway. Maybe a tablespoon or so of meat, 2 tablespoons of beans. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Terrible. $26 for this. The arepa was soggy and dripping in grease. The $5 juice is pre-made. The plantains were bad and not made to order. Bunelos were good.
This must be a place to stop in and buy an overpriced empanada.

The food that we got was ok but the price tho in my opinion it was so pricey.
I ate in few places in Jersey and the price is like double here I’m not sure why. Maybe is because this area didn’t have much Latino community or near college kids. The portions also is small.
The pandebono in Jersey with regular size (if you are a Colombian or had been to Colombia bakery you know when I said regular size) is $1.50 to $1.75. At this place 3 pieces mini size $3.85 (see pics).
Same thing with empanadas.
And yes like other reviews said this place don’t have breakfast menu just very little bakery options.
The guy that take the order was friendly but I won’t go back here one time experience is enough.

I had the brisket with the Arepa with a pickled slaw it was really good. The brisket was perfect. My wife had a chicken bowl with the pickle slaw the beans, rice really good and a nice fruit juice called Lulo. I definitely recommend this place to others. I like the Hispanic music in the background set a mood.

The meat was good. The arepas tasted old.

The staff and service are great, but the food is mediocre, not authentic Columbian and overpriced. Bowl is 3/4 rice and beans. No seasoning on beans, or brisket, which was dry. A small portion of salad with what tastes like French dressing! Empenadas are okay, but dry. Half a plantain for $4. No mango juice on brisket bowl but that was closest option for review.
