These people still have anti-COVID stuff hung up right when you walk in. All we wanted was some eggs. I mean I get it that was a crazy time but I have friends and family members who died of COVID. Just so unnecessary.

Food was FANTASTIC, and the atmosphere truly made me feel at home! First time trying out this place and it will certainly not be our last. There’s a good sense of community here, we went on a Sunday morning. Both the steak omelet and the Crack’d Grin were delicious!

I was hopeful that I would have great service coming to this restaurant while being greeted by one of the waitresses that had a smile on her face and directed me to the restroom. However, after ordering drinks from said waitress there was another waitress that took care of me for the remainder of my visit. The new waitress was very dry and unpleasant. She, in my opinion just did the minimal of what she had to do. After she brought my food she did not ask how I was doing until I was FINISHED eating. The other waitress was kind and plseant to her patrons. I'm not sure why my waitress was dry. Maybe that's her but that left a negative impact on me AND it was reflected in my tip. I considered not typing at all BUT I did!!

I walked in and walked out right out. There are plenty of breakfast joints in Pittsburgh that are welcoming and accepting. I wish I’d have read the reviews before attempting to dine here. That’s why reviews are important!
As a veteran, this type of messaging is embarrassing. The way they handled COVID has me concerned for their food safety practices. I wonder if bacteria is a conspiracy too?
If, like me, you have had loved ones die from COVID, people like this are like rubbing salt in the wound. Shame on you. Not very Christian at all.
The unprofessional responses to reviews say enough.

Used to love coming here. Recently ordered food and it was no where close to what it used to be. Zero flavor, everything was bland. I don’t know if there’s new cooks or what.
Not only that but the waiter sighed and rolled his eyes when we asked him for straws. Maybe a bad day?? But he also hovered over us when picking a tip. Very uncomfortable experience. Do better, don’t lose customers that used to enjoy coming!

This place is incredible - family owned and operated. EVERYTHING is made in house - this is a picture of the best Rueben in the city of Pittsburgh. Everything is made fresh. The owners are incredible and deeply care about every guest they serve. The food is really made with love from the owners themselves and they treat you like family. If you're looking for great food and great company - visit the Cracked Egg!!

Headed to the Art Fair today and looking for a place to eat. After seeing these reviews we have to go and enjoy their wonderful menu. Also seems like we'd feel comfortable surrounded by their true American values. See you soon :))

I felt deeply uncomfortable the moment I stepped in due to the overwhelming political propaganda on every surface. I don't really need my breakfast spot to be "a defender of the constitution" lolThe eggs aren't the only thing that's cracked

I should have read the reviews before going instead of just the menu. Walked in, immediately saw all the right wing political views on display and walked back out. Menu looks great, but I’ll spend my money elsewhere thanks.
