The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We had a lot of fun! The performers were very entertaining. Not a lot of choice for the main course (either roasted chicken, vegetarian, or fish) but it was good either way.

The MOST adolescent, junior high schoolish thing I've EVER attended! And the food was lousy; chicken was like a piece of marine plywood! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! Go watch some paint dry or grass grow.....

It’s a bit pricey and if you miss your planned date and reschedule you’ll pay almost the rate per ticket again because each hotel charges per person for the meal, so understandable. The event was fun and comfortable. I thought it would be more theatrical, but I guess it’s hard to constantly interrupt people while they're eating. Overall, it was a nice evening. Definitely will do again!

The show itself was absolutely entertaining in every sense of the word.

I was lucky enough to be one of the people they “picked” to be a suspect and I was smiling and laughing so hard my cheeks hurt halfway through..

My table worked together to figure out the case and someone from my table won! It was so much fun!!

Incredibly personable cast and crew, I would 100% do this again

Side note: the food….was not great…
Very bland and very dry…was expecting something much more

But the actual show and performance was so whole heartedly entertaining I couldn’t rate it lower than 5 stars!!

This was so over priced...I was celebrating my birthday with a friend so for both of us I paid $221 not including drinks, (which was $15 for a glass of wine) for a bad show and bad food. I wasn't expecting something so bad for the cost. My small town local theater, little lake theater would have done a better show. It should have been $50 a person for the show and the meal. The only thing they did well was getting people to interact. Im only writing this because i was robbed and just want to warn the next person.

The actors were fun and entertaining. I would of thought the food would of been better. Drinks were pricey, they would sell more if they would lower the pricing. Overall something different to do.

Dinner detective was a great show. I would recommend to everyone. The food was good, the actors were great. Fun fun time

We left after the first part. We asked for the food to go since it was literally a networking event, not a murder mystery. Do not expect a "show" of any sorts. It is a sit down cafeteria style dinner in a boring room.

This was so fun. I can't say too much without giving away spoilers. The food wasn't the greatest but being at the show made it worth the money. The actors were fantastic and funny. Prior to the show we sat at the main bar and had a few drinks. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. Grab a few friends and join the fun. Parking in the garage across the street was only 8 dollars.

My food was pretty good. I was happy that they were able to accommodate vegetarians. I attended the performance at the William Penn Hotel. I love murder mysteries, so I have always wanted to try it at least once. It was pretty corny, but it was still entertaining enough and enjoyable. The price seems fair for dinner and entertainment

Not what we expected, maybe I didnt read the info thoroughly. Food was ok, William penn is a very cool ole building! Wanted to see more actors and actresses put on a performance. Maybe just me but I wasnt impressed for the $$$.

Exciting. We had so much fun. This was my second time attending. The first time was when COVID restrictions weren't as strict anymore but still in place. Both experiences were completely different and both were absolutely awesome. I'd do it again. It was great!!

It was a very enjoyable experience! The food was delicious and the murder mystery was very interactive and fun to participate in.

Loved loved loved our night at Dinner Detective! Food was pretty typical mass marketing dinner at a hotel but the cast was a lot of fun and clearly they had a lot of fun putting on the show. Great night out, highly recommend!
