I recently visited The Forge Pittsburgh with a girlfriend for a casual dinner and wine to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was truly wonderful. The decor is cozy and comfortable with an upscale lounge feel that immediately makes you want to settle in and enjoy the evening. The menu offers a thoughtful variety, ranging from Mediterranean inspired dishes to beautifully prepared charcuterie, making it easy to find something that fits the mood whether you want light bites or a full meal.
Everything we ordered was excellent, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was the owner personally coming out several times throughout the evening to check in with guests and make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. That level of care and hospitality made the night feel especially warm and welcoming.
We loved it so much that we immediately booked another table for dinner before a concert at the Thunderbird this week. If you have not been to The Forge yet, I highly recommend making a reservation. It is the perfect spot for happy hour, a relaxed dinner, delicious small plates, or a special celebration.
Really amazing vegan restaurant! Hidden gem @ pitt. They make fresh, authentic vegan pizza right out of woodfire. I love the cozy vibe inside, and the cocktails are really good too. I could lounge their for hours. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful ambience at The Forge. We like to sit at the upright 4-top with friends and looking straight into the pizza forge. The chef prepared a flavorful middle eastern starter dish followed by forge cooked fungi pizza Yum!

The atmosphere here is wonderful and the staff is attentive and friendly.The whipped feta and pita from Israel are absolutely incredible; I never knew pita could taste that good! The pizza is also fantastic The owner even stopped by our table to make sure we were happy. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Loved everything about it... The food was amazing, and a special drink from the bartender was one of the best I've ever had. The owner came out and introduced himself... And we enjoyed heavenly tiramisu for dessert. All in all a lovely, lovely experience.

Sat at the bar and had a great meal/drinks. Had the hummus, the works and the peach pizza. The pizza is baked in a stone oven right in front of you. Delicious. Had a few cocktails and they were equally delicious. The bartender, Caleb, was very helpful in coming up with concoctions that were never amiss. I will be back.
