The Forge has been an absolute staple in Pittsburgh for the past seven years. I’ve visited at least fifty times, and every single meal has been nothing short of incredible. Their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Feta Feta Bang Bang, are outstanding. The Tuna Steak, grape leaves, hummus, and Old World Falafel (truly the best you’ll ever have) are all top-notch.
When it comes to cocktails, The Forge easily stands out as the best in Pittsburgh—by far. I’ve explored countless spots, and this place is number one. The drinks are crafted with so much care. They are unmatched.
The service is consistently phenomenal, It’s family-owned and operated and you can see the passion come through in the atmosphere and every ingredient of everything they put out. The setting is both welcoming and dimly lit. Every visit is an experience.
I can’t recommend The Forge enough—it’s a true gem.
Parking: There’s a lot designated to the forge to the left of the building. I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. There’s plenty of street parking too.

First time here and we will definitely be back again! Just a heads up that the bar seats are seated by reservation, just like the rest of the restaurant and they don't allow standing behind seated patrons at the bar. We didn't know this and arrived 30 minutes early to our table reservation. Despite having a packed house and it being a Saturday night, they were able to rearrange things and get us seated quickly, which was very much appreciated! Food was spectacular and vibe was perfect for date night. We can't wait to go back!

Came to The Forge for my birthday dinner because of their rep for good cocktails, nice atmosphere, and elevated Mediterranean small plates and pizzas with excellent vegan options. I was not disappointed- the whole experience was relaxed, decadent, and warm. Meant to take pics of the food but forgot because it was so good! Highly recommend the “bartender’s choice” cocktail option- tell them what you like and don’t like and they will craft you the drink of your dreams! Will def be back.

Sometimes you go to a place and the server is so warm and friendly that you're afraid.The food won't live up to the service. Here everything is spectacular. Try the bang bang feta and add pistachios. It is a hit. And the chef is a super sweet guy too. I'm full right now but can't wait to go back.

A super cute craft-cocktail and Mediterranean small plate bar/restaurant. A unique, chill lounge bar with a contemporary vibe. Great spot for sharing, as their plates are made to share. But it was great as we were able to try lots of different things. I loved the Rainbow which was an amazing platter of seven mezze salads, including hummus, babaganoush, grape leaves, cubed feta, house made pickled veggies, Israeli salad & a rotating seasonal salad. WOW, just WOW! Honestly the perfect way to try a bunch of menu items! Then tried the wood fired caprese pizza which was so light and flavorful. We had to try their famous homemade tiramisu, which did not disappoint!!!! Great cocktail menu as well, they rotate seasonally. Bartender was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect cocktail! Will definitely be back!

This place has a unique atmosphere that was perfect for our date night. Comfy chairs, great wine and wonderful food. We had the eggplant which was very good and the pistachio pizza (made gluten free) and it was so good we decide to try another one of their pizzas while we were there. You'll want to make a reservation as the place isn't very large. We actually ended up leaving and coming back later with a reservation but the staff was great and 5 stars to the chef!
Dietary restrictions: Not a gluten-free facility but really good gluten-free options if you only have a food sensitivity.
