The Forge is a staple for us for date nights and special occasions. They consistently update the menu with new food and drink items that make us excited to return, while keeping some favorites that have been there since the restaurant opened. The ambiance and decor are classy yet fun, definitely instagrammable. The staff is very knowledgable, attentive, and warm. Can't wait to see their future food and cocktail creations.

What a gem! It was my first time to this fantastic restaurant and it won't be my last. My cousin and I were over the moon for the food and atmosphere. The owner came over to our table and was so wonderful. the service was excellent as well as the cocktails and food . Get the whipped feta and drunkin mushrooms! The margarita pizza was next level. We can't wait to come back !

Great experience at The Forge. We had a couple of small plates (pepper pirogies and chicken souvlaki) - both were excellent. Finished up with two pizzas - one regular and one gluten free. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Fantastic cocktails as well. We will go back.

Really nice space with a cool vibe. The food was nice and the service from the front door and all through the meal was outstanding, I even had the opportunity to speak with the lovely pizza maker. The drinks were made with care and were delicious. The timing of the food was perfect, and the hummus slapped! I look forward to returning soon!

Went for the NYE pre fix menu and was disappointed by the execution of the food. It felt like it was cooked hours ahead and the presentation was lacking.
I'm a fan of The Forge, and took 3 friends who had never been there. They all really enjoyed it. We tried various special cocktails, which were fun, a little pricey for the size, but flavorful. We ordered a variety of appetizers, plates, and a pizza, which are perfect for a party of 2 or 4, as most of the items served had 4 pieces - tuna, shrimp, falafel, humus with 4 triangles of pita, pizza had 6 slices, so we split the last 2. The falafel were crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. The humus was creamy with tahini and the toasted chipckpeas provided a nice contrast of texture. The gambas were tasty, but with only 2 small pieces of baguette, we couldn't fully enjoy the olive oil and garlic sauce. The tuna was perfectly seared, and the pizza had a wonderful crispy/chewy crust. We felt there could have been a couple more pieces of the fluffy pita, as there was a lot of humus left after we finished the bread, but we managed to scrape our plates clean nonetheless and were all full by the end! As a group of Social Security recipients, we would have appreciated at least one analog (i.e. paper) cocktail and food menu, as our phone screens are small and the lighting was dim, but we managed to view the selections on our phones. Kudos to the Chef/Owner on maintaining excellent quality on the menu items and for keeping the cozy soft seating along with the cool bar area.

I recently visited The Forge Pittsburgh with a girlfriend for a casual dinner and wine to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was truly wonderful. The decor is cozy and comfortable with an upscale lounge feel that immediately makes you want to settle in and enjoy the evening. The menu offers a thoughtful variety, ranging from Mediterranean inspired dishes to beautifully prepared charcuterie, making it easy to find something that fits the mood whether you want light bites or a full meal.
Everything we ordered was excellent, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was the owner personally coming out several times throughout the evening to check in with guests and make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. That level of care and hospitality made the night feel especially warm and welcoming.
We loved it so much that we immediately booked another table for dinner before a concert at the Thunderbird this week. If you have not been to The Forge yet, I highly recommend making a reservation. It is the perfect spot for happy hour, a relaxed dinner, delicious small plates, or a special celebration.
Really amazing vegan restaurant! Hidden gem @ pitt. They make fresh, authentic vegan pizza right out of woodfire. I love the cozy vibe inside, and the cocktails are really good too. I could lounge their for hours. Highly recommend!!!
