My wife and I celebrated our 20th engagement anniversary this past Wednesday. In January 2006, I told my wife, back then girlfriend, I'd buy her a ring when the Steelers win the Super Bowl. It was the elusive one for the thumb - Super Bowl XL. I proposed the night before the big game at the overlook on Mt. Washington. We celebrated immediately after at the Grandview Saloon and had a wonderful night!
I did the same thing all over again 20 years later and the Grandview Saloon was excellent! Our meals were beyond sensational! The service, atmosphere, and view of the city made for a perfect evening!
Thank you so much Anna, Caeley, and chef for making a magical evening for us 20 years later, another one that we will never forget!

We have been regular customers for several years. Good food, excellent service, and an overall great environment and view. Most of the employees are long term giving the restaurant a real family atmosphere. We have never had a bad experience and would highly recommend this great establishment!

Came here for lunch and had their Reuben sandwich and their soup of the day (which was chili which was fantastic! I wish the chili came with crackers or something but either way it was a overall good experience especially sat up beside the windows.

On January 23, 2026, I dined at The Grandview Saloon in Mt. Washington to celebrate my birthday. During our visit, members of my party observed rodents moving through the dining area, which caused serious concern and discomfort. The only resolution offered at the time was a handwritten coupon for two free appetizers on a future visit, which did not address the seriousness of the situation. Multiple attempts to speak directly with ownership afterward were unsuccessful.
I am sharing my personal experience so others can make informed decisions, and I will be submitting a formal report to the health department for review. Every guest deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard when raising concerns about cleanliness and guest experience. I welcome appropriate follow-up through the proper professional channels.

Listen to All my bubbas that love great food, great drinks and a spectacular view, this saloon is for you! Mmmm I got the rack of lamb, crab cakes and to top it off I got their carrot cake that is to absolutely die for! But what makes that place special is the people serving you. The place is very presentable, clean, and overall just a fun atmosphere. Definitely going back!
I loved my experience at the Grandview Saloon! I had my rehearsal dinner there for my wedding and the view was gorgeous, especially for my out of town guests. Food was good as well! We had a great time! I’ve also been there for the occasional dinner and I love their burgers, cauliflower bites, and the wings! So delish! We will be back.

The view that surrounds The Grandview Saloon is breathtaking. My food was excellent, Donna and Stella were great hosts. Great place to come and sip on something strong to fight off the cold. So thankful for the tremendous hospitality by everyone. Great staff! I plan to be back on a nice warmer day. If you haven’t been here, it’s a must! Do yourself a favor and take in the sights of this beautiful city. And enjoy a delicious meal!

Do not eat at this restaurant‼️ On 01/23/26 we had dinner at the Grandview Saloon to celebrate my sister’s birthday. During the celebration two mice were running around in the dining area where we were eating. The manager handled this situation very poorly. The owner and the manager refused to compensate us, and told us that the mice probably got in when they were taking the trash out. We will be reporting them to the health department because this is unsanitary disgusting!
