The New York Hot Dog & Diner

Have heard this place was amazing for years, finally checked it out and unfortunately don’t feel the need to ever go back. Maybe it’s better for lunch but the breakfast experience was honestly bad. The food was mid at best for the price - the maple syrup is plastic bottle log cabin corn syrup which was so bad I couldn’t even eat my pancakes. This place is clearly not super kid friendly based on our experience. The worst part of it was the service - the main waitress had a major attitude with our table for no reason but the other woman cooking and behind the bar was very kind and friendly. There are just too many other good places to eat breakfast locally to come back.

Family diner. Just what I was looking for. Nothing fancy 1970's decor. Staff was wonderful, working hard to satisfy customers while joking with them like family. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. If I could change 1 thing it would be the coffee . It was abit weak for me. I like a dark roast so others may find it just fine. All in all I loved the place and plan to return.

Man I’m never let down here I loooove this place the owner is so homey she makes u comfortable greets you with a smile and remembers your patronage. She is awesome the the other staff are wonderful 😍

The hot dogs are delicious and arrive in minutes. The ladies running the restaurant are absolutely lovely and clearly put a lot of care into their work for their customers and community. I knew I'd become a regular on my first visit. I really want to try out their soups, I've heard they're fantastic

The upscale diner feel with all the comforts of home. The whole experience was so welcoming. Lots of options with breakfast and lunch. I was there for the hot dogs and fries but I sense I will return for the pancakes.

Food was okay, very underwhelming considering the price. Customer service was unacceptable! Ladies were extremely rude! Got an attitude and actually made a remark because I didn’t tip on a take out order! That’s why I went in the PICK MY FOOD UP. I did talk to the owner over the phone and she did apologize for their behavior but nonetheless we will never be back. Over priced as well, not worth the money
