My son and I hit up The Other Place before heading downtown for the Pitt game. It is a take out spot, so we ordered two medium pizzas, homemade breadsticks, and the stallion - a hoagie on a loaf of Mancini’s bread - to go. We stopped by Carnegie Park to feast at a picnic table. The pizzas were good. Nice amount of cheese, cup pepperoni, tasty crust (traditional). Breadsticks were equally tasty. The stallion was definitely a top shelf Italian sandwich, though that was indeed a loaf of bread. Could only eat half. I must note, only after we ordered did I remember I wanted to try their muffuletta. So, I will have to come back.

Fantastic food. Every time. Never misses. I personally love the Hannah pizza and think it’s wonderful. The chicken tenders can’t be beat either. If you’re gluten free, check out their GF crust. It’s crispy and lovely. Never gross. Another recommendation is catering. They cater anything and everything and do it was heart and class.

I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy… very tasty!!I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great… Very Nice!!This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely return!!

Started off rough they were busy and our delivery was going on 2 hours late (never happens normally) and my grandparents I and called a few times. after what I would call a not polite reaction to the delivery driver by our company (not deserved just frustrations) the owner called back explained the mishap they had on their end and expressed never wanting to lose a customer. The same driver came up and upon apologizing, he completely understood and even said he might have the same reaction when a delivery is that late you your hungry.I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR CUSTIMER SERVICE ON ALL LEVELS. They were so honest and understanding it is absolutely amazing. Even with being confronted with customer frustration they still treated my grandparents so polite and when I got the call with how they handled the situation I was so grateful. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
