Located downtown in the historic Union Trust Building, this local, husband wife duo owns this business serves fresh food and outstanding drinks. I may have had the best lavender latte I’ve ever tasted.
The bartender recommended the chorizo omelette with their homemade mango habanero hot sauce, and it was the perfect combination.
The building itself is full of beautiful character, it was once an old shopping center, and the setup is truly unique, with gorgeous seating inside the restaurant and throughout the halls of the Union Trust Building.
Already looking forward to my next visit!

Came here two days. The first day we did not have a reservation, but were seated within 30 minutes. Great service and food. The second day we made a reservation and were promptly seated. The service was just ok I. The second day. Why don’t any of the employees smile? They could definitely use some training on customer service. My husband and I watched them and they did not seem to enjoy their jobs. The French toast was good. My husband had the chorizo omelette and liked it.
Definitely need to make a reservation.

I ordered an egg-white vegetable omelet from here today it cost $50 all said and done with the doordash fees (recognizing it would be much cheaper dining in but it's still expensive!). It was cooked in so much oil I had to throw it away. I tried to use paper towels to soak up the oil but even that didn't help. It was sitting in a pool and dripping. I've had diner food that was healthier. Such a shame I picked this place for a healthier option and I don't mind spending extra $ for that. but if you care about calories at all avoid this place or ask them to not cook your food in oil.

I visited this place while in town because of the reviews I had seen, and wow! While the wait was about 1 hour, it was well worth it. So much so we went back a second day. I had the chorizo omelette and it was perfect. I also tried a side of my husband’s pancakes, and those were the best pancakes I’ve had in my life! No lie! I highly recommend trying this quaint restaurant out. It’s located inside of a historic building with accents of gold. Ask the waiter/waitress about the building’s history. It’s a whole thing! I will be returning if ever back in town!

Yummy food, friendly service, gorgeous photo ops. We are both gluten free and enjoyed home fries, chorizo omelet with bacon, 'take me on a date' toast and 'hen's hash'. Def recommend reservations.

My fiancé and I were in visiting Pittsburgh for a weekend and found this restaurant on Google. When we arrived we met this extremely kind staff member named Graham who chatted with us about the restaurant and local sights to visit. The service we received from staff was above average. The food was INCREDIBLE. So delicious and tasty. A group of people sitting close to us actually ordered a second breakfast. After we were done our meal we chatted with staff member Graham again who hand wrote us! A list of places to check out. Such a great person. What a wonderful restaurant. Please visit if you are in downtown Pittsburgh.

Want to thank the rude dismissive guy at the host stand. Because of you we found Ritual House. Ritual House greeted us with a smile and a hello. The guy at speckled was talking to 2 other workers and told us he would be with us in a minute. We stood there for a minute. Nothing. So we left. No line and open tables.
