Food was very good! A tad bit pricy but it's delicious! Trivia was really fun and overall we all had a ball! The drinks taste delicious but are defiantly not as strong as the price should reflect! But still a great place to go!

Had a reservation for Fathers Day. Showed up and doors were closed because of a gas leak, no call or anything to cancel our reservation. I understand that needed to be taken care of, but I feel like you should have called your customers to let them know.

While the set up of this place seems really great and fun (self serve beer straight from the tap) it’s an absolute rip off. My boyfriend had three beers and paid $26 while I had 2 and paid $16. That’s absolutely insane in my opinion as a beer connoisseur. Food and service was average. Would recommend checking it out but this is not a place to go often in my opinion.

They have a false advertisement for their Happy Hour on the website. The website lists half off appetizers and drafts, yet upon arrival they informed us that the new Happy Hour deals were in effect, which were $5 select fried appetizers and 25% off limited drafts. The new food selections were small and not particularly good, and the false promotion lead to a much less enjoyable time for my party.

I was so excited to come as I saw the chef on an episode of Plate it Pittsburgh and the menu sounded amazing. I may have worked myself up to the point where anything less than fantastic would be a disappointment... and that's what happened. We stayed long enough to have brunch and order regular menu items for takeout. Pro: amazing self-serve beer selection; nice atmosphere/vibe; our waitress was great as far as remembering our orders and knowing the menu items; a few of the menu items were good (All-In Fries, Home Fries, Bourbon French Toast). My sister said the chicken tacos were delicious. Cons: overall the food was just “ok”. I was not impressed by the hot chicken and waffles as it was a smallish portion, the chicken was mostly breading and the waffle had no flavor. The chicken seemed to be a small piece that was sliced and separated atop the thin waffle to make it look more substantial. Not bad, but also not great. My friend's waffles were so burnt, they were inedible. Then she subbed it out with fries, and there was a hair in them. She just had a bad day. Everyone else's food was deemed “ok”. No one was impressed and no one wants to return for the food. Perhaps beer ...and maybe fries? But overall, I was disappointed.

100% yes, I will be back! The food was delicious and the selection of beers with the convenience of filling them up yourself is such a neat and interactive experience! I failed to get the bartenders name but she was very kind and willing to help me make a decision on what to order. My friend and I split the fried pickles, tacos, French dip, and let's not forget the mac and cheese! The cheese is homemade! Sorry for not taking pictures, I was in a good coma!

This is a fun casual spot to meet friends. You pour your own drinks and pay by the ounce. The food is fine, nothing special but not bad. I would probably go back more to drink than to eat.

We had a truly wonderful experience at The Vault Taproom! Our waitress Corinne (hope I spelled this correctly) was absolutely fantastic- so kind, helpful, and just all around cheerful! Being able to taste and pour your own beer was really great and so fun to try what you probably wouldn't have been able to before. This takes some heat off the servers and bartenders-brilliant. Now the food, I had the cauliflower po boy and it was absolutely delicious. My friends had the Kalua Pork Tacos, Smoked Brisket Rueben, and the Chef Smash Burger- we also had the fried green tomatoes that were excellent. We were all highly satisfied with our food and the servings are huge. You shouldn't leave hungry from here. The entire experience was top notch and i highly recommend for a casual night out

Unfortunately I really can't say I had a good experience with my visit at The Vault Taproom. We had multiple issues. To start, I ordered a sandwich and specifically asked for the bread to be unbuttered, and it was quite cooked in it. I also asked for steamed vegetables, but they came out dripping in oil. My friend had a simple omelet, and she said it was extremely underwhelming. My other friend asked for Cajun fries and got regular. Another friend had the chorizo breakfast burrito and couldn't take a second bite because of the taste. A friend ordered steak and eggs and although she asked for medium rare, she got it well done. It's one thing if there is only one mistake, but every single person at our table had an incorrect order. I can safely say the only reason I can give it more than one star is because my sandwich I did enjoy other than the extra butter, and the waitress was friendly. But overall, we unfortunately did not have a great experience.

Had a reservation for 5 people, got sat at a table set up for 4 with just enough room for 4 people. Luckily one of our party didn't end up coming or we would not have had enough room. Very loud, but it was happy hour so I'll give them that much. Service was very slow and lackluster. Had to ask for drinks, sauces & even a forgotten part of a sandwich ordered. Overall, good happy hour spot for drinks and apps, otherwise pass.

Great experience! Happy Hour/reunion for 7 old girlfriends. Loved that you could pour your own beer and wine and sample by the ounce! Also LOVED that it was half price before 7:00 as well as all of the appetizers being half price! The food was amazing! Especially the Thai cauliflower wings! We also had the pub pretzels, smoked wings and fried green tomatoes which were all great.

My third visit but took first time guests for brunch. We Tried the taps and enjoyed trying the good selection. I'm vegan and was pleased that the cook was able to make adjustments to a menu item that tasted spectacular.

First time visit for myself, wife, and four other friends. We liked the self serve beer taps to the max; great concept!. The food was delivered in a very reasonable time frame, and everyone said it was tasty. Will definitely be finding a reason to go back now.

Had heard buzz about this place for some time and it did not disappoint! Our server Ryane was super friendly and knowledgeable. She made our 1st experience with the wall of taps easy to understand. The availabilty of a variety of beers, sours and wines, at the self serve taps, is enough to bring me back. But that food...OMG! We enjoyed the fried green tomato and pretzels apps--get the cheese! The menu has amazing options from yummy comfort food (Hello, Mac n Cheeses) or salads and sandwiches. Cant wait to go back!

The beer setup here is so cool. Great way to try a lot of things if you're a big craft beer fan, without needing to buy a ton of glasses. Cider and wine on tap too. The apps and sandwiches were good and the other food was fine. Go for the drinks/experience.
