We wanted to visit again as we are at one in D.C. This one was more a bar atmosphere. Our server was good.
We decided to eat brunch here because of the low prices and delicious-looking combinations, and we were not disappointed! The portions were phenomenal for the prices, and the food was impeccable! We all left feeling full and happy!

First and foremost the road is closed and nothing tells you that ahead of time. After finally getting into the place the whole entryway smells like pot from the store downstairs. After being seated we ordered drinks and an appetizer (the appetizer was the only good part) I asked the server a question about a dish because I’m allergic to an ingredient it listed and asked her if she could check on it for me and I got an attitude with a I can just 86 it and I had to ask again for her to ask the kitchen about it because she had no clue. From them it was nothing but rolling her eyes and talking to other employees at the bar about us as you could tell they were staring at us and laughing. The food came and was terrible. The sandwiches were absolutely bland no flavor the fries were beyond burnt you couldn’t even eat them and the tomato soup was terrible. Our server came back and asked if we needed boxes because nothing was really eaten and I said no it was all pretty gross and he said sorry and gave us the bill. Tons of servers standing around in the way of customers. The table that walked in after us had the same server and they left before there their food even came which I wish we would have also done. The atmosphere is just garbage the service is terrible. Don’t waste your money seriously GO ELSEWHERE!

The cheese in the grilled cheese was not really melted. There was too much thick bread vs. cheese. The tomato soup was luke warm and the herbs in it were too over-powering to dip the grilled cheese into it. The burger was just a burger. The chips were cut too thick to be crispy. But the waffle fries were better than expected and had a nice seasoning to them.
The inside was nice, but we felt nervous/spooked by the people loitering outside the restaurant. The entrance downstairs was not welcoming and was quite smelly.
Our waitress was friendly, though, even though it was the end of the night.

Great brunch spot. Almost bottomless mimosas were a great deal! Food was great, drinks were great but the real star was the server! A member of our party has a nut allergy and he went out of his way to make sure she was safe. He was playful and attentive! Overall great brunch spot! Will return!
It was alright, not in the best neighborhood for kids and no air conditioning so it was super hot making it hard to enjoy our food. Kids enjoyed their food, salad I had was decent, my hubby's burger was dry and so was the bun. Prices were good and waitress Alicia was great.
We had a great gluten free dinner at The Yard. Our server was knowledgeable about our issues and even got us the name of the gf bread that was used!! She had a wonderful personality. We will be back!
Was given a dirty table. Hostess had to come back and wipe away the stickiness and food crumbs. Had to remind our waitress about our soft drink order. The downstairs vestibule had street people taking drugs in plain site. The vestibule was awkward in general without a clear sign where to go. In front of the restaurant, many people were loitering and smoking. I picked this restaurant for its family friendly menu, but I was disappointed in service and environment—it was a lot for my young children to witness.
Good food, but could be way better, needs more flavor and ingredients, and larger portions.

Sadly we went to this place during our vaction for Anthrocon and the waitress there had kept forgetting everything we ordered, we brushed it off and kept trying to continue with working with our waitress and she continued to mess everything up repeatedly, to our food, our drinks, what we wanted on our food, it was absolutely sad. When we recieved our food we were missing our mozzerella sticks that when they did arrive looked burnt and taking a bite out of one of them there was no cheese. I had ordered there buffalo mac n cheese sandwhich, in which it was very bland and dry, sadly I wish this place was a bit better.

The food is very average and somewhat overpriced. The dining environment is noisy. Overall I was disappointed.
My wife got the pierogi grilled cheese, I got the yard burger. We sampled each other's and were floored how amazing they came out. Perfect pink in the patty and the waffle fries were the right crunch without being dry.
Will definitely visit this next anthrocon!
