Love this zany, crazy, homey (albeit the crazy member of your family) atmosphere with an eclectic, eccentric, somewhat macabre decor comprised of the "antiques" portion of the business. We don't mind it, we come for the overall atmosphere, have made new acquaintances via community/group seating at the tables, as well as having wonderful, interesting and sweet table conversation with total strangers. Price for the buffet is ultra-reasonable, and you choose one item from the entree menu; coffee or tea (plus refills) and everything on the buffet is included in the price ($12 as of this review.) Plenty of options for GF intolerant me, nor can I eat soy products, yet we manage to go 2 or 3 Sundays out of a two-month time frame. And we have to undertake a drive to get there, too! It's truly, for us, like eating at a family gathering where you never know who's gonna show up; be on your toes! Come hungry! Check out their FB page and the Owl-themed bathroom near the front entrance. Bizarre in the best of ways!
The chickn noodle soup was good, but that’s about it… We got the seitan pepper steak, and neither of were fans. It was bland, and the texture was wrong. It was similar to Injera, Ethiopian bread, which is no where near what seitan’s texture is like. It was pretty unimpressive, unfortunately. The environment was eccentric? It felt a bit eerie. I hate to rip them apart like this, but that was our experience
Love the vibe, friendly staff and yummy vegan food.

Once upon a time, we used to really enjoy going to The Zenith. Although the entrees were lukewarm, rubbery and mediocre at best, the buffet and unique atmosphere always made for an enjoyable Sunday brunch experience. However, they really need to learn to keep their political views to themselves. It is bad enough that they display political signage at their location, but their social media pages are also full of left wing propaganda. Who they choose to vote for is their business, but it is totally unprofessional of them to push their views on customers. They are WRONG to assume that all of their customers are liberals. They also need to learn proper punctuation and grammar. Clearly, whoever runs their social media pages severely lacks any intelligence and commonsense. My social group will no longer be patronizing their establishment.
Zenith is a local treasure!! I love the shared seating, I have met many lovely people. The vegan menu is extraordinarily generous and affordable.
Very interesting concept! Quite reasonable pricing as well - $12 for an entree, all you can eat buffet, and a drink. Bring cash!

You pick a meal which is always amazing. You can go to the buffet immediately. Since it's a buffet there's no take out. Don't fill up on the buffet though or you won't be able to finish the meal you pick out.

Adorable place, decor and atmosphere is unbeatable. The rotating menu is a fun touch and the food was super comforting, nothing too pretentious so maybe not for everyone but we enjoyed it a lot!

The Vibe, the service, the food the food! Plenty of Vegan options just ask.
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, adorned with antique items, to the fantastic buffet spread, we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere of dining among antique pieces while enjoying wholesome vegetarian and vegan food was delightful. It's very reasonably priced, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great little vegan place! Great prices, great selection of food. There weren’t many gluten free options which was a little bit of a bummer but I still was able to eat quite a lot from the Sunday brunch buffet. It’s cash only so make sure you remember cash! Definitely recommend.

The food and service here are both great! Portion sizes are generous and the prices are extremely fair. The atmosphere is EXACTLY like the pictures so if you are not into a vintage atmosphere you may want to reconsider. BUT…if you like to patron small, local shops, relish in vintage, and don’t mind the OLD stuff being everywhere then do not pass this place up. Go!!!! We will definitely be back! The menu changes weekly so you don’t know what they are serving until you get there (I think you can look on the internet but I’m not sure if they keep it current) but they had several options. My husband and I had grape leaves for an appetizer and we both opted for tofu lasagna and could only eat half of it! Also ordered a piece of cake to-go…it was super moist and delicious.Thank you Zenith for a pleasurable lunch while we visited Pittsburgh from Ohio. ?
