GREAT CIDERS, PIZZAS, and VIBES! Tried Threadbare Coder House for the first time last night - I am REALLY late to this party - and it was fantastic! First off, if you're a toddler mom like me, you know a night out with the kids can be more stressful than fun. Threadbare was totally kid friendly and has an amazing corner with giant light bright boards and magnatiles for the kids to play! It was amazing and the most relaxed my husband and I have been out in a long time! Like it was so nice that even if the service and food hadn't been good I would have returned for that feature alone- thank goodness that wasn't the case! We ordered two pizzas - the buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch. Both pizzas were sooo good! We especially loved the buffalo chicken! The chicken is a slow cooked braised cider chicken that is so flavorful. The ranch on both pizzas is homemade and herby, and the dough is a homemade sourdough crust which was perfectly crisp and thin. Very well executed. Service was fantastic! We felt very well taken care of, we were given the cookie for the kids on the house and the food and drinks were out quickly. Our favorite cider was probably the tiki which is a seasonal recipe and has a hint of coconut. It was delicious. We also really liked the imperial cherry and guava flavors. The bridge city bubbly was nice but sweet lovers beware - it's very dry. Overall we loved our visit to Threadbare and will be back soon! Our only regret is that we didn't know about it sooner!

Loved the atmosphere, the cider and the service! 10/10. Good food too, gave it 4 stars on food because the cheese pizza was so greasy it was unpalatable. The other pizzas were all awesome and not greasy

We went on the Pirates opening day, so it was extra quiet, but the service was on point. The waitress/bartender was super nice, the cider was delicious, and so was the pizza!! Pizza seemed much fresher than most pizza I've gotten around here, and they also have some good vegetarian/vegan options (though I recommend the bacon ranch pizza ?).

I'm not exactly sure what happened, but somehow we made a reservation for brunch on Easter at 11:00 through Open Table. It was confirmed via email and text the day or two before our reservation. And yet, when we arrived on time, the parking lot was empty and the doors locked. They were clearly closed??? We had to pivot and find another place to eat with our family. I sent an email message and no response. Not sure who's running this place, but they need to get it together.

Found this place by accident and really enjoyed the 3 pizzas we got here and tried both of the offered flights. Pierogi pizza was great. I enjoyed the Hop cider and farmhouse most from the traditional flight. Service was slow initially. We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately. Would recommend.

This place has restored my faith in pizza. All of the ciders are good. If you arrive early, it isn’t busy. They once had a New Year’s Eve dinner (I don’t think they’ve offered it more than once) and it was amazing.Highly recommend

We came here for dinner and to sample some of their homemade adult beverages. I have to say that I was quite disappointed with the tasings. But to each their own. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza and was not disappointed one bit. The food, out waitress and our service was 10/10. The environment on the other hand was a bit chaotic as there were kids running around and only 1 adult from the group trying to wrangle them up. I don't mind crying, screaming kids, but when they are running all over the place screaming, someone needs to step in. We will be back again and hopefully improve the rating.

Some of the best cider ive ever had. The bottles are beautiful and I love grabbing a few to go to bring to dinner parties instead of wine. They have a few that taste similar to a delicious pet nat if you like natural wines, I highly recommend. I haven't had much food, just a pizza during one visit and it was excellent. The owners and staff are so nice and accommodating. We went in with a large group on a busy day and they helped make room for us and moved some tables around. Great spot

Me and my party of six gender nonconforming guys and gals had a great time at Threadbare as the staff there made us feel very welcome, and the drinks and food were outstanding and well worth the money spent. I look forward to going again with others that have never been there in order to share such a great place with them.

Service was very slow. We would have stayed longer & ordered more (and spent more money) but we couldn't get the server back to our table once she dropped off the first (and only) round of appetizers and flights. We watched her stop at the tables around us, but couldn't get her back to our table. When we decided to leave, we managed to get a different server to bring our check. They weren't that busy (there were open tables), so this was disappointing. This was my second time here. First time was great, so I wanted to come back with my family that was visiting with me. They used to have little signs on the tables that you turned when you wanted the server to stop by. Maybe they should think about bringing that system back. The drinks and food we had were good. Flights are reasonably priced & a good way to try different flavors of hard cider & mead. We bought some to take home. The restaurant is nice & clean. We had cheesy breadsticks; the sourdough crust was excellent. Wish we could have ordered a couple of pizzas. The musician that was playing was very talented. A little loud for me, but everyone seemed to enjoy listening to him. He played some original songs & some covers. Hopefully it was just an off night for our server, but it was a disappointing evening out for us. We had been looking forward to hanging out & enjoying the music, food & drinks. Five stars for food & drink quality. Five stars for cleanliness. Four stars for music. One star for service.

Don't let the outside discourage you, as most cider houses and breweries have this kind of style to it. The service was excellent; the staff were attentive and friendly. We started with the create-your-own-flights. Not pictured, the different ones were guava, apples & honey, and Perry the pear. My favorite cider was either ciderday or apples & honey. They weren't overly sweet or dry. My fiancé's favorite was the barrel reserve, which was more on the dry side and had an earthy taste. Now, for the food, the breadsticks were probably the best thing, just the homemade dough with the melted stringy cheese. The pizzas were good too; they had a wood fire oven taste to them a little bit. Overall, we would come back here, it's a good place to hang out with a group of friends.

Excellent service and pizza! Loved their caramel apple cider. We'll definitely be back.

Threadbare is always amazing to stop by. The food is delicious and I love their specialty flavored pizzas. We stopped in during trivia night and that was super fun! I have also done the tour and if you haven't done that yet you definitely have to! The history is so neat as well as the process and you get to sample ciders along the way.
