If you don't mind waiting in line early in the morning, get here. I will say that whenever I went, the online menu was slightly different than what they were actually serving. But the food is excellent.
This was the first place I went when I moved to Pittsburgh and it set the bar so high! The sandwiches are amazing, everything is fresh. Those buns! Staff is awesome. Don’t ever skip the donuts or drink, everything I’ve ever had from them is unbelievable. Took multiple out of town visitors here and they all said it was the best breakfast sandwich they’d ever had.
Not scared to say that I wish NJ had a breakfast sandwich like this. Honestly every aspect of the BEC was perfect. We arrived around 10am on the first Saturday of the season and it was well, well worth the wait.
