The reason for my visit was to soak up the Swissvale-Rankin nostalgia and get some food. Got a cheese steak battleship and a pop. Cheesesteak hoagie was almost 3 feet long....packed with shredded steak meat, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and drowned in mayonaise.....oh well. It was hot and good. A meal for three adults. All that is missing is a few pinball machines to play while you wait for your order.

This is a neighborhood staple and the Battleship is legendary. Is the place old, you bet. Is the neighborhood a bit run down. Sure. But the staff know what they’re doing and the place is clean. Highly recommended

The service is rude and impolite the food quality is terrible you ask for double meat you dont get it but you PAY FOR IT just HORRIBLE. I can walk there and wont eat there I drive a half hour away to go to ANCHOR HOAGIE in North Versailles. Best service and great food.

The tomato was so thin. You couldn't even know it was there. There was probably four pieces of onion. Very little lettuce. few slices a ham. A few slices of cheese. And what I think was mortadel. Tasted like a jumbo sandwich. very disappointed.
