“A chain spreading to the Pittsburgh area, Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers things that I don't usually seek out in the form of snack-drinks. However, I knew they offered food as well, so I decided to stop in. I was very pleasantly pleased with what I found!
The smoothie I got was very good. No issues or complaints at all there. Though I'm not much of a smoothie afficianado, so perhaps the review for such is better spent on someone else.
The food itself was the real winner.
While the grilled cheese I got was middling at best, the rest of the food was surprisingly good. My wrap came out burrito-sized, with fresh veggies and plenty of tasty flavor combinations. So I really won out there. Though, what stole the show was the quesadilla. Probably the single best drivethrough quesadilla I've had anywhere, though I wouldn't be able to eat it while I drive. Fillings, cheese, a choice sauce, and everything cooked fresh and hot.
It was a delight, and so was everything put together. And not to mention I didn't spend a lot of money either.
The wait was a little longer than I might have liked, but I did also come right, first thing in the morning almost. So, that might've been me more than them.
Still, if that doesn't sound like an issue, I'd recommend giving them a visit!“
“Just want to say a HUGE thank you to Alisha H and the man who was working with her on the mop today at 2:05PM. I went to pick up my mobile order smoothie from the shelf and put the straw in on the bar area but my hand accidentally slipped and my smoothie spilled everywhere on the floor. Alisha H. Was SO kind, and started a new one without me asking. I paid again of course (this accident was on me), and it was ready in no time. Her coworker with the mop came out so quickly as well. Thank you both for being so kind, understanding, and minimizing my embarrassment! To whomwever the owner/manager is here- you have some star employees! Thank you again! (The smoothies and food here are always consistently delicious which is why I’m a regular as well).“
