Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

I am from East TN. I’ve dined at several Tupelo Honey locations in the south and this location gives the chain a terrible name. The food at this location has gone MORE downhill than the first time I ate there two years ago. Tonight I was served chicken tenders that tasted reheated and old (other than one?). The fry portion on me and my partners plates were less than a handful each. And listen ALL the side sauces that come on the side are terrible, like BAD. Who wants a bbq sauce that tastes like it’s mixed with orange marmalade? Or a “honey Dijon/mustard” that tastes like horseradish? Like I said, I’ve eaten at Tupelo Honeys that knock it out of the park. This location is like a discount version of those- where your food is more comparable to hospital food or cruise ship food. Oh the bathroom was disgusting on top of that. I worked in service for over a decade so I’m patient and try to understand but this place is more and more consistently garbage. I’ve had better food at Zaxbys. I’ll stop recommending this place to travels in the area. At least someone (after over a year) finally realized the sticker on the door said “Pittburgh….” Anyways go somewhere else for food. In general, station square is a disappointment.

Incredible scenery inside here. Very clean, modern, authentic southern feel. Had the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles and finished quicker than I could think. Have been here before and will continue to come back. Service was quick and got our food in 15-20 mins.

Great flair on the food, great decor i felt it was a loud venue with the high ceilings when there where only a few tables taken. But a great stop.

Amazing food and service! My husband and I went for a special occasion and felt a very warm welcome from our server Dani and the entire staff. Also very cute restaurant!

Had the shrimp and grits, great food and service! Please try the biscuits for good, great cause and a nice starter with the Chicken Plabano soup I had.

We were traveling on a bus trip. A local person recommended Tupelo Honey. We were not disappointed. The staff went above to help you and make you comfortable. The food was delicious. The Asheville Chicken sandwich and Chicken Polbano soup were really good and generous portion. The other person had the Farmers breakfast which was also filling and delicious. I would eat at a Tupelo Honey again. The Pittsburgh located was awesome and staff was wonderful!!

Our servers were great and I had brought my daughter and her friends from a cheer competition and the manager came and talked to them and delivered them a Special dessert. She really made it nice for them.

We've been to Tupelo numerous times since they opened and have always really enjoyed it. It's been a while since we've been there and this experience was really a disappointment. Our server was very polite and attentive and the drinks were good but the quality and quantity of the food has dropped drastically. Yet the prices have stayed the same. Their biscuits are less than half the size now and were dry and crumbly. The chicken and waffles only had one small piece of chicken and two soft, undercooked waffles that looked like they came out of the freezer. The sweet potato pancake on the kids menu, brussel sprouts and Mac n cheese were all edible but were nothing to be impressed about. Unfortunately, I don't see us returning again.

Food is consistently good, never had anything we did not enjoy. I love the brunch menu, and the mimosas. Great casual spot, and the service is usually friendly and prompt, although today it was a bit slow - it was busy due to the Steelers game

I wanted to attend the Steelers v. Cleveland Browns game so we drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to attend our first Steelers game!!! We were starving and wanted something good and close by the stadium and stopped by this spot!

We were able to make a reservation within minutes and once we arrived, were able to be seated within minutes. It was beautiful, all the black and yellow waiting for food and enjoying conversations.

Our waitress Emma was so sweet and ensured that we had everything we needed! I ordered the steak, eggs, crispy potatoes, but I wanted the grits also and she helped me make a great decision in ordering them also. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles and the sauce that came with it was amazing! Everything was great and when we return for another game, we are definitely visiting again!

Great experience! Hard to describe how good this was, but I'll try. Comforting, flavorful, and honestly one of the best places that I've eaten in Pittsburgh on my visits there.

The staff were amazing and the resturant was beautiful and clean! The only thing is the food lacked flavor. For a southern style resturant I was hoping for big bold flavors and everything was very bland.

Our experience at Tupelo Honey Pittsburgh was excellent! The service was outstanding — our server was beyond words and truly deserves a promotion. The entire team was attentive, energetic, and made us feel so welcome.

The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious, and the steak and eggs were very good. The grits were just okay, but the mimosa flight was refreshing and fun. The **biscuits with two different jams were an awesome starter so delicious!

And the sweet potato pancake was truly to die for.

My mother-in-love felt like a queen celebrating her birthday. Thank you, Tupelo Honey team, for such a warm and memorable dining.

The restaurant is beautiful inside with plenty of seating and a full bar.
