I had a reservation set a week prior and my party was not sat on time. My family came in from out of town and I was hoping for a nice experience for them. Although it is normal and understandable for a restaurant to have you wait when busy, we actually then waited about an hour and a half for our food. In that time, we noticed that nobody in the restaurant was eating. It made us laugh, but it was unfortunately true. All the servers ended up going back to the kitchen at one point. We thought they were going to help make the food since the entire restaurant was just filled with customers with nothing but half full water glasses on their tables. When the food finally did come out, it was not hot and the quality was just okay. I visited this restaurant back when they first opened a couple years ago and had a better experience. The Southern, friendly, and Pittsburgh city ambiance was there. Last night, it was not. It was just a loud restaurant with little to no food for most of the time being there. The waiters and waitresses were scattered, not organized, and couldn't remember what they set out to do when coming to tables. Select few were kind and friendly, but not enough to change the overall experience. *Know what you want before going as you will have a harder time finding something for people who don't like the limited selection on the menu. I'm definitely disappointed and will probably not return to Tupelo Honey in the future.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, but the sides were small for the price. The drinks, especially the mimosas, were great.
Great southern style brunch menu. Really good Bloody Mary. Very cool atmosphere, low key and bright. Will definitely be back for dinner sometime!
Twice I have been here. I loved everything except the service were a little slow both times.
Food was outstanding , we went to celebrate getting married just the two of us and our server Abby was sweet as can be gave us wine to toast and a dessert to take home she was an absolute gem! The lighting is so beautiful and it's not loud or overcrowded even when it's busy we will definitely be back!
We sat 10 minutes without menus, 25 minutes before we were greeted by our waiter and nearly 40 minutes before we got drinks. We were there a total of 2 1/2 hours for lunch. Our server was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed. The food was also lack luster. The best part was the fried pickles. The green tomatoes lacked seasoning and flavor. The portions were small and didn't justify the cost. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and we won't be back.
The chicken was terribly dry like it had been sitting all day. Was not fresh. Greens were cold.
Really cute place, with nice patio with lights that will be fun in warmer weather. In good area near Sheraton and train station. Food very tasty and Jason was really nice, very attentive to table and gave good recommendations he likes when asked for suggestions. First time there, we will be back.
Made a reservation at the beginning of November this year for 4 people for Dec 7. I found out the day before they were closed down. Very upset they didn’t let me know.
The Shrimp and grits were excellent! Hubby wasn't excited about his sandwich. It was kinda small, but it did what needed to be done. The mimosa was cute and sweet. I forgot the name of that ginger shot drink, but it was good. I would return, hubby not so much lol!

Service started a slow but got better after the waitress made her first contact. Fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were excellent. Chicken & waffles were also good. Chicken sandwiches were good but a little undersized. Chicken Caesar salad was excellent. Definitely will be coming back.
