I’m off the tab having a great meal! The heaviness of lamb and rice and the lightness of Persian tossed salad. As I sit here I find myself thinking about Persian restaurants, and what it is to be one in Pittsburgh. I myself come from Baltimore, I could have been Persian, but I wasn’t and that is that. My role in Persian food is to go to Persian restaurants in Pittsburgh and eat at them. There is something deeply spiritual about all this.

We ordered the Persian eggplant appetizer, one Afghan and one Iranian main dish, and the Kunefe for dessert. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—perhaps not the best we’ve ever had, but still very enjoyable. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality, attentive service, and cozy ambiance. Overall, a lovely dining experience!

First time here and there's no other word but AMAZING!
The food was so authentic it tasted like my husband's Persian grandma made it 30 years ago! We ordered the ashe reshteh, shavid polo, khoresht gheymeh, large mixed appetizer and Persian eggplant.
The food was so fresh and perfectly flavored. The service was fast and super friendly. Place was very clean and authentically attractive.
I will say it's my new favorite restaurant
