Beautiful spot with great vibes. Absolutely loved the ramen on a chilly day. Fun variety of both food and drinks. We were there on a Friday night when there was a DJ set up. Was impressed that they were able to have the DJ in small space without in infringing on ability to hear date - but it worked!
Umami is a vibe! The artwork, music, and service come together to create an incredible atmosphere. I’ve been there twice for dinner and absolutely loved the takoyaki (fried octopus balls, they were perfectly cooked. The gyudon (beef rice bowl) was just okay, but the rayu cucumbers were delightful and had the perfect crunch! It’s a great spot for a date night, especially with their shareable plates. You should definitely make a reservation before going!
Awesome date night! When we first arrived, we did have to wait a bit for our seats, despite having a reservation. BUT the host was very kind and made up for our wait. They were clearly very busy and we were understanding. Good and service were AMAZING. We sat in front of the kitchen and the chefs were very social and made great recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.
