Ordered a ultra sam special. It was supposed to have extra meat. I was so so so disappointed it had no meat. It was a veggie sandwich. Unbelievable. What a disappointed.

Hi,
I was just in there and the lady at the register with the short brown hair was extremely rude and disrespectful she was not friendly at all and had a attitude when you placed your order and then she rolled her eyes as well she needs to be retained on customer service

Have visited many times over the years but not after today. The ultimate cheese steak hoagie and cheese steak salad were burnt to a crisp steak and cheese. This was a take out order so we didn’t know until we arrived home.
You actually burned the steak and cheese together and thought who cares and just put it
on the hoagie and salad. SMH

The food is good. But has been making me sick to my stomach the last couple of times. Something is off.

Friendly staff, quick, delicious food. Free fries when you eat in. Love these subs. This is my 4th time here. Highly recommend

Review for Uncle Sam’s

I ordered the Ultimate Steak & Cheese with a side of cheese. When my order came up, I asked the first cashier for my side of cheese, and she it wasnt charged , then asked another staff member about it. She told me it was an extra .90 cents. I explained I had asked for it when I ordered, and while I was fine paying, she got short with me.

What really disappointed me was that the cook (Nick) then spoke up loudly in front of the dining room, making comments about it being “a business.” I felt like I was being called out over .90 cents while just trying to enjoy my meal. As a customer, it was embarrassing and unnecessary.

The food itself was fine, but the customer service and attitude from staff really overshadowed it. Respect goes a long way, and it was frustrating to be treated that way over something so small.

This is one sandwich shop you can always count on! It doesn’t matter if you want the best Cheesesteak in Pittsburgh or a fantastic Italian, this is the spot! Yes there are plenty of places around Pittsburgh that have great hoagies, but not many in the Robinson Twp area. They also have fantastic fries and I don’t even like fries lol.

Only reason this isn’t a weekly stop for me is my one kid won’t eat anything. No sandwiches. But he has no problem eating from that nasty place that starts with Mc——— haha…. However I finally convinced him to try an Italian from here and now Italians sandwiches are one of his favorites… That says something if you can turn a sandwich hater into a sandwich lover!

I got a Italian sausage sub and it was nothing to write home about.I have been here before and got a phili cheese steak and it was good but only ate a few bites of Italian sausage not that it was bad but just not that good and a waste of $

I love Uncle Sam’s. The waterworks location feels just like the former Oakland one, which was my favorite. Hot Italian extra well done FTW!

Best Philly Cheesesteak in Pittsburgh. Staff are super friendly and you get free fries if you eat in! (Though that’s a secret shhh).
