Oakland for a late lunch near campus and got the turkey club.Bread was toasted just right
with thick bacon but the tomatoes were a bit mushy.Place has that old-school pub feel
with wooden booths and locals chatting at the bar. Server refilled my iced tea without asking even though it was steady busy.

Two words: Fish taco. FISH TACO. I've been getting the fish taco here for ten years (maybe longer?), and I get it every single time. It's so good! If you haven't already, do yourself a FLAVOR and try the fish taco. Their happy hour drink specials and desserts are also great. My husband's burger was also amazing last time too. I got the fish taco, again. Fish taco. Have I mentioned the fish taco?

10/10 restaurant w great food and an amazing happy hour. i think i went here almost every week for a whole year. get the smokehouse burger or fish taco. their honey mustard, brownie sundae, and fries are also sensational. ps bring back the bacon jam burger

It was almost 10:00 on Craig Street in Oakland and we were looking for a nice place to eat. When we stopped into Union grill, we were pleasantly surprised at the comfortable atmosphere that you felt. The service was tremendous. Our food came right away and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. My fish sandwich was tremendous. The Greek salad was very fresh and satisfying. And the hamburgers were tremendous. All and all, we all had a fine meal. And the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

This place has gone way downhill. The new renovation is an abomination. This place used to be so good until ownership changed. It's not the same anymore. They used to have the best fried chicken with waffles fries. I will never come back it's glory days are in the past.

My wife had the Turkey Devonshire I thought the turkey was a little rubbery. The cheese sauce was very good. I had the grilled salmon with vegetables. The salmon was very good i thought that the mixed vegetables had way too many onions. Overall the food was very good the portion size was decent. A very busy atmosphere but our serve was on point and attentive. We also had the hummus appetizer which I thought was very good. It came with a small Greek salad along with the hummus.
