I like Upstreet Diner. I like the food. The shakshuka is delightful, but it's a really small portion for what they charge.
Unfortunately, they seem to be having trouble with their wait-staff, too. I hope they can stay in business - but they need to improve the customer experience.

Absolutely love this diner and hard pressed to say what my favorite might be as everything is delicious. What stands out is the precision and care in every single dish. I’ve never once had a bad experience, which says a lot! Extremely reasonable prices as well. I recommend the shashuka, the Cyprus, the spinach/feta omelette (pictured), the Denver(pictured) and their pancakes (pictured) are some of the best around, and I don’t really care for pancakes overall. Lovely people running the place as well.

this horrible AI generated art was staring at us the whole time. actually insane considering how expensive it is here. plus the service was bad, had to get up to ask to be waited on multiple times, even tho people who came in after us had been waited on.

I really enjoyed my shakshuka but know there are no substitutions here and not much that is vegetarian and even less is vegan. That is the reason it is 4/5. Service was great and the location is nice.

Had a very good chicken shwarma, chicken was juicy and the pita was full of toppings/chicken. Food and drinks were brought out fast too. Def reccomend and will come back.

Horrible gentrified diner vibe. AI “gangster” monkey art hung on the wall. The food was only okay, and the menu prices do not include a card fee - they only tell you after you get the receipt.

I've been going to the Upstreet Diner for some time now. This one day I'm with my client. The waiter gets my food order wrong. He was very rude and had the worst attitude ever. I tried not to get upset so I didn't say much and still tried to tip the guy didn't want my tip and I promise I did nothing wrong. Only for my food to be corrected. I was truly saddened by his actions because I did love this place

I'm probably less impressed than most of the other reviewers. The decor is nice. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. The food wasn't great, for my taste. The scrambled eggs were very bland, and needed some seasonings. The Mediterranean sausage was odd -- once was enough. The home fries were ok, but some onions and peppers would have been nice. Probably won't be back. I was disappointed that Pamela's is no longer here, and still am.
Excellent food and service! 10/10 recommend

Confused mix of Israeli and American diner food. I think either or would have been better as none of the dishes we tried really worked.
Also the worst hummus I have ever had.
