The waffles are delicious, and the service was excellent! But the tip options are frankly ridiculous—I’ve never seen the option to tip 5% in my life. It gave the whole place a weird stingy vibe that doesn’t really go with the indulgence of tasty waffles.

It used to be good. Last time i orderd a waffle with few toppings, i received a cold and old waffle that was like chewing a piece of rubber with clusters of sugar in it. I thought it was a one time thing and went back and saw 2 waffels sitting on the counter in the air so i asked politely if it is possible to get a fresh waffle and the answer was NO. I said thank you and left. Why did he say no!? You can figure it on your own when you go there. There's a new spot in oakland called treats and beans where you can be treated with dignity and get fresh waffles made while you wait instead of wasting your money.

I have yet to find a place in the US that serves Belgian waffles as yummy as Waffallonia's. I ALWAYS make time to come here whenever I'm back in Pittsburgh. Very friendly owner as well. Make sure to get the Speculoos (spread or ice cream)! ?
