Exceptional whiskey, bourbon, ryes, and gins. Huge selection to take home. The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgeable about their brand…. And they do cider, beer, and mead. The drink shown is the Something Sour 75 with threadbare mixed berry mead. Offfff the charts awesome.

During my annual trips to Pittsburgh, this stop is a must! We even returned twice during this trip so we can purchase our take-home bottles. They make it all on-site and even offer tours. If you love whiskey, bourbon, gin, or rum, make this your stop too!

you’re lucky enough to get Braxton as your tour guide at Wigle Whiskey, prepare for an unforgettable time. He’s the perfect mix of teacher, comedian, and bartender all in one. We learned a ton about whiskey-making, but honestly, we were laughing just as much as we were learning. Every stop on the tour came with great stories, good energy, and some very generous pours — Braxton is definitely not a light hand! It felt more like hanging out with a hilarious friend who happens to know everything about whiskey. 10/10 would take the tour again just for him!

Visiting this distillery was an amazing experience. The whiskey is excellent, the food is delicious and Bret's storytelling of the history of whiskey in the US was so enjoyable. Thanks Greg and Bret (hope I spelled your name correctly)! If you're looking for a place to visit for a Pittsburgh highlight, put this on your list.

I love Wigle Whiskey in general, but this location is definitely my favorite! I’ve been here several times with friends to enjoy drinks and food, and I’ve also checked out a few of their seasonal pop-up bars the Monster Mash most recently. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly, and the cocktails never disappoint!

Braxton was our tour guide and we had the best time!

The bartenders were more interested in tasting new drinks for the menu than helping us. Respect for trying to make a good cocktail but you can’t ignore people because of that. We were also told you cannot order a drink and stand to drink it. We were told you have to sit at the bar and you cannot stand at the bar and consume a beverage. It may be a requirement for a distillery so no disrespect if that is the case but it was very odd. As my friend said, I’ve never in my life been to a bar where you could not stand and consume a beverage, and I have been to a lot of bars. We also were told we could not go sit on the patio with the drinks we ordered at the bar because to sit outside you had to order outside. Again, understandable if it’s a requirement but we have never heard that before. Suggestion would be to state we are required by law, if that’s the reason, rather than just saying we could not. Spent a lot of money because Coop De Ville was crazy but would rather go there than here. 10x busier at Coop De Ville (we went there after the poor experience here) but got our drinks 10X faster.

This past weekend we had a bachelor party for a friend and kicked things off with the Wigle tour. It was an incredible experience and well worth the price. Our guide, Braxton, did a phenomenal job as well. Learned a lot and got to taste lots of great whiskey.

Great experience, guide was interactive and informative. His passion for his work shows in his presentation skills, and his relatable character made the experience like we were talking to a close friend.
