The fried chicken biscuit with honey is what dreams are made of. Absolutely delightful!

Incredible. I like to get Sallie's Snack, which is a biscuit with pimento cheese, chow chow, and an egg. I'll order an egg over easy, add salt pork, with a side of greens. Highly recommend! The greens are excellent, still have a bit of bite to them, and there's Crystal hot sauce, which is, in my mind, the only correct hot sauce for this situation. Don't sleep on the baked goods. Respectfully, the cookies remind me of my great-nana's favorite boxed cookies from the grocery store. The lemon cookies are perfection. Dry goods and frozen items are thoughtfully curated, with local sodas and to go items by the register. Love the Dickenson salts and jam selections.

I grew up in southern Florida, spent summers in the Smoky Mountains, and settled in my mother's hometown: Pittsburgh. Wise County Biscuits hits me just right in sooo many sweet spots, smallest of all being the Red Bird peppermints by the door. Feels like coming home! I only wish they had salt rising bread. I like the variety of seating within the space. If there's a line, it's worth the wait!

We thought that it’d take forever to get our food based on the line but everything kept on moving. The hibiscus iced tea with simple syrup is delicious, and I highly recommend any of the biscuits. Fair prices for such high quality food and fresh, local ingredients!

One of the best breakfast options around! Nice to see some southern offerings in town. Food was good, biscuits nice and fluffy. This is one of the only places in town that has grits as far as I've seen. Everything wasn't 100% "traditional," but pretty close. I think your Southern grandma won't complain too much (maybe lol, I'm going to try next time mine visits). The only thing I didn't love was the red eye gravy on the country ham. It was just really really salty, tasted like dark soy sauce, and there weren't enough grits to compensate.

There's a small shop area where they sell frozen biscuits, jams, hot sauces, grits, etc. There was a line out the door (which seems to be standard and why we hadn't tried it before), but it moved fairly quickly. Don't go here if you're too short on time, though.

Wheelchair accessibility: Their website says there's an accessible entrance somewhere in the back, though I'm not sure how you get to it. The front has a step or two.

Solid Southern breakfast fare in a vibrant charming bright space, but table service is limited (you have to wait on line to order at the counter). Will definitely become a regular spot for us.

I was in town for just the weekend and wanted to go to a cutsie/cozy local spot for breakfast and Wise County hit the spot!! Phenomenal biscuits and gravy!! So much worth the wait on a Saturday morning!! Service was very fast and friendly. The biscuits had a perfect crunch to them which had a nice mouth feel with the perfect sausage to gravy ratio on top!! Great coffee too! Super affordable for a meal!

This is a fantastic neighborhood place with very good food, atmosphere and service. Excellent gluten free biscuits, and care taken with GF orders. We weren't fans of the drip coffee, but the pour over was good. we ate there multiple times during our stay in the neighborhood. We will go again.

Came here on a Monday for brunch. I’m blown away!!!! The potatoes are the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. My biscuit sandwich had bacon and cheese, and it was fantastic. The biscuit was perfectly flavored and moist. I will be craving this place until I get to come back. The coffee and desserts were also delicious. The inside is very cute and the service is excellent. Very good prices, too.

The food is well worth the wait. Seating procedure is unusual but works well. Effective fast casual in a more traditional setting.
