Always been a fan of Lorelei, but stepped into the woodfire side for the first time last night. Was super impressed with the wine store and with the to-go service! Their sommelier is fantastic! Great selection! My pizza and salad were incredible as usual. Thank you!

Ordered from Woodfired while at Lorelei. They gave us the wrong pizza initially (the regular Pepperoni instead of the Peppy Pep which includes additional toppings) and the pizza we got was very burnt. When I told the bartender at Lorelei that we got the wrong pizza, they very kindly put our order in again and took the pizza back. But when I got the right order, it turned out to be the same pizza, lukewarm, with the additional toppings. And still burnt.Listen, I get that super cooked crust is a legitimate pizza style, and the undercarriage was actually pretty decent. But the outer crust was so burnt that it was inedible. We also got the Kale Caesar, which was not bad.

DELICIOUS pizza (try the Peppy Pep!) and an awesome selection of wines. They only sell bottles that you can’t find at the state stores and stock lots of natural wine. The shop manager (who is also a sommelier) is SO nice and super knowledgeable. I always leave the shop with something new to try that I end up loving. Also highly recommend trying their wine classes when they offer them. You learn a lot and you get to try 3-4 wines in each class (reducing the risk of buying a bottle and then not liking it when you open it at home). They’re a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Had the margarita pizza, it was perfect! Just the right amount of sauce cheese and basil! It's a thin crust wood fired pizza and is just delicious

first time at this place last week. purchased a bottle of riesling and a bottle of sauvignon blanc, along with a pepperoni pizza.the sauv blanc was okay.pizza wasn't anything great. vocelli's-tier pizza for $18.the riesling was the biggest let down. i love white wines. when i opened this bottle of wine and poured it into my glass, i was immediately disappointed. the wine was brown and spoiled. paid $36 for this particular bottle and it's undrinkable.if you're looking for pizza and wine, get pizza elsewhere and go to the fine wine and good spirits that's only a couple blocks away. you'll save money, and it'll taste better.

Seriously killer pizzas! Woodfired is baking their pizzas in the Italian-built wood-fired oven in the Highland Avenue shop that previously housed Pizza Taglio! These pizzas are crafted with a nice hand; they keep their toppings in check, which really allows their dough, oven, and ingredient quality to shine through. I highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe pizza! If you are looking to dine in, you will most likely enjoy cocktails next door in the lovely vibes of Lorelei! There is a service window between the two establishments that allows you to join the beer and cocktails of Lorelei, with the delicious pizza of Woodfired!

Great pizza worth the drive from the South hills

I couldn't tell if this place was super authentic or super chill. If that makes sense. Looked like the menu was daily or at least seasonal because of the options. I got the Bianca which was a white pizza with spinach, cherry tomatoes and grilled onions. My husband go the Bob Malnati which was a red pizza with mozzarella, calabrese, sopressata, and some Calabrian chilies. (Little bit of a kick to it). The pizzas were a little burned but I don't think that's a usual practice. I would be willing to go back and try it because the parts that weren't burned were delicious! I think I'll try the margherita pizza and the arugula salad next time!
