YINZ offers the standard coffeehouse offering and a solid coffeehouse breakfast menu. Friendship/Shady Side is dotted with good coffeehouses but what would set YINZ apart would be an enormous sitting area, and solid wifi through Pitt Guest. (You have one other “free” choice but pick this.). If you want to sit and read your morning paper on your computer this is the place to be. And they do feature gourmet popcorn but I did not partake.

I ordered a maple cinnamon oat milk latte which was good as expected! They don’t really have any special drinks (only two that the staff confirmed are on the sweeter side).
I gave a lower rating on the environment as it’s not as nicely decorated or intricately designed as other cafes. It’s clean and nice and convenient with lots of outlets, but I would not say the furniture and interior decor is anywhere near cute.
The AC was really blowing and they couldn’t adjust it… Make sure you bring a jacket or sweatshirt (I had my jacket on but was still cold…)
Overall the experience was okay; nothing negative but also nothing that really attract me and make me want to return anytime soon. It’s a decent cafe for anyone who wants to work there and charge their laptops though.

Not a bad spot, the guy working there is usually good- the woman is oddly cold and weirdly rude. Don’t know why she’s like this but whenever I’m there just ordering there’s a sense that she’s just bothered.

Great iced oatmilk latte at the most affordable price I’ve seen recently (16 oz for ~$5.60)! It is cold inside but I don’t mind the atmosphere at all since there’s always seating available. Just bring a sweatshirt!

The food and coffee is good, but the atmosphere is really terrible. During the summer they keep the inside so cold you'd need a jacket, which most of the other people usually have. The space has a strange echo giving it that oppressive quality where if you talk to whoever you came with you get the feeling everyone else can hear you. Usually they're playing something from like Spotify but a few times they've been playing commercial radio, and again the echo gives it an uninviting feel. I live nearby and used to come here quite often for the coffee, but I don't stay here hardly at all anymore because of how uncomfortable the interior is. My recommendation: better seating, add some sound dampening to reduce the echo, and close your freezer door.

Stopped in for a medium decaf, staff was friendly and cheerful, no complaints besides the little goat mascot, but hey, you can't have it

First time visiting. Looks very nice and clean inside. Baked goods look amazing! The girl working wasn’t the friendliest. She asked what we wanted, we said we weren’t sure yet since it was our first time (no suggestions were given), ordered a cappuccino with vanilla- nothing special to it. She called our order out, no “have a good day” or anything until I said it. I was interested in trying a chai latte, but the lack of customer service turned me away.
