They have a sweet potato roll and it's crunchy, sweet, and delicious. Never had anything like it before. Plenty of vegan roll options. Don't eat in person, take out only. Vibes are so odd. It always looks empty and you have to go to the back to yell for staff. When we've eaten in person the service is awkward. So we just do delivery bc the rolls are so good.

They treat their usual customers great and they always remember what my order is.
The food is fairly priced and very good!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Yukiyama. The service was extremely slow—we had to wait an extended amount of time just to get water. Something seemed off with the soy sauce; it was overwhelmingly salty and had an odd taste.

I ordered the Squid Ramen, and unfortunately it was one of the blandest dishes I’ve ever had. I usually dislike wasting food and will eat almost anything, but I could not finish this bowl. The squid itself was tasteless and contained what seemed to be an excessive amount of cartilage, which only made the dish worse.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant dining experience, and I would not recommend the restaurant based on what I had.

The whole place is grimy and needs a thorough cleaning. Greens were old.

Super underrated, definitely my new favorite sushi spot! Friendly service, high quality fish, and generous portions for the price. Will definitely be coming back.

I ordered DoorDash from Yukiyama not long before they closed for the night. There was an issue with my dasher and my dasher ended up going home instead of picking up my order. The restaurant allowed my second dasher to come pick my food up 45 minutes after they closed. Super awesome service and I am very grateful!

Very disappointed with the service. They were not taking orders in the order people arrived — others who came after us were served first. We waited over an hour, and still didn’t get our food. On top of that, the staff seated us with a baby at the bar, which is completely inappropriate for a family with an infant. The employee was moving so slowly with our order that we eventually had to leave and eat at home. No apology, no explanation — just a terrible experience. Definitely not coming back.

Best bowl of ramen I've had since moving to Pittsburgh. Went there with a party of five, and there was a bit of a wait after ordering (maybe 20 minutes?).

The wait makes sense once you get the food though. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and so, so good. Highly recommend I would just advise patience for the delicious food they make!

This place feels really authentic. The food is very adorable and delicious. Huge sushi rolls for 6 bucks; and they're as fresh as can be. The staff, despite the language barrier, were very friendly. They even brought us free watermelon after we were finished eating. Great place! Please stop and try it out!

The service here was awesome! Me and my sister got greeted right away and the man working was very nice and he asked us about our day. We both got a sushi roll and they were both very tasty and fresh. The prices are very affordable. We were a fan of the decor as well. I would definitely eat there again!!

Hidden gem. Huge rolls and large fish portions for $6 average a roll, and the taste is great too. Best bang for buck and best overall sushi place I’ve had in Pittsburgh!
