The food is amazing. The salt and pepper tofu appetizer is amazing. It's the best tofu in Pittsburgh. Service is amazing. The owner Kai is always so gracious. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Very disappointed with the food, scallion pancakes and gyoza very greasy and burned, karaage hard and over cooked, takoyaki very oily. Ramen watered down flavor. The sichuan string beans were done relatively well. We left a good amount of food. Service was as very good.
Good food and environment. Service was ok, but they never came around to check on our drinks.
Very quick service and good food. A tab bit overpriced for the quality, but not terrible. Would eat here again.
It's a very nice little place. Service was great! Food as well with one little complaint (the spicy curry veg ramen would be much better with better/different veggies and better cut and cook differently tofu). Some of the sites were metal - not very cozy specially in winter. For a good food, I'll go there again.
Yuzu Kitchen is such a gem!!! The food was so good, the service was amazing and the cost was very affordable in this terrible economy. I will take my family there again and again. It was a wonderful experience :)
We came here for a birthday dinner and noted that in the OpenTable reservation, but nothing was acknowledged, which was a little disappointing given that the information was collected ahead of time. We were seated next to the door on one of the coldest days of the year, so it was fairly chilly at the table. That said, the food was good. The kids really enjoyed the edamame gyoza and the ramen dishes. The old school stir fry had a lot of onions and not much protein, but it was still very flavorful. Overall, a solid meal, but a few small details would have made the experience better.
Another amazing experience. We were going to a show, so we shared the KARAAGE CURRY RAMEN -- it is so delicious that we have to order it every time we go there. We also shared the ribeye smoked brussels this time, and have enjoyed every appetizer we have tried. Service is very quick and the prices are very reasonable.
We arrived a few minutes early for our 6pm reservation. The hostess immediately asked us if we planned on leaving by 7pm. Because she needed to figure out which table to seat us. Weird question for a reservation. Also had never been to this restaurant so we weren't sure of the timing. We were seated and didn't have a server for over 10 minutes. Our server seemed to be taking care of the whole restaurant. On e we ordered drinks they were delivered quickly- creative and delicious. We asked for food recommendations and received nothing. Food was delivered in a timely manner. Yuzu ramen and gyoza were very good. The chicken bao was ok.
Very excellent food the service is awesome

Sashimi was really good!! Forgot to tip sushi chef… if you are Asian and craving for raw fish, I recommend here. Tuna and yellow tail was the one of the best !!

Absolutely delicious food! The menu was well labeled for individuals with dietary restrictions as well. It took a while for the first round of drinks to arrive, but after that, the pacing was perfect. Highly recommend!
I have never. Ever. Been to a place before that makes you split your own bill. We had a group of 10, placed our reservation and everything way ahead of time. When we checked out, our waiter/manager made us go to the back to literally divide up our ticket on their computer to pay everyone's bill. They wouldn't let each group just pay for their meal when we had all ready to go for them. They wouldn't let us leave until WE did this for them. Plus the tip was ALREADY on there, which is understandable for a large party, but they would've gotten ZERO for this. They were so rude about it when we were nothing but nice. Absolute baffled lol. We use to make it a tradition to come here for years... birthdays, anniversaries. Never stepping foot in here again.

We used to frequent here every week or so. Food has always been somewhat inconsistent, but the drinks are solid, its a nice atmosphere, and it was often good (although not so much the ramen, its a bit bland and unauthentic). Recently the food has gone down hill, overly sweet, spicy, random substitutions of ingredients, and not up to par. The worst part is the service; it has mostly been impersonal and lackluster but was not necessarily bad. The last two times we went however, they were careless, rude, and unprofessional. Yuzu, we're going to take a break, but we will try you again in a few months. Hope you get it together!
