Yuzu Kitchen is a delight in town. Some of the best ramen I've had and great lunch specials. Everyone is always so friendly and the food is always made very quickly.

My son and I ate a late lunch here prior to walking over to a game at PNC Park. Easy walk from anywhere downtown. Atmosphere had a cool vibe. The service was very fast and efficient. Prices are about average and as expected. We tried both beef ramen and chicken stir fry dishes and were quite satisfied. We would go back again.

The Mood Swings gin cocktail with Szechuan pepper was phenomenal, highly recommended. Their portion sizes are large for the appetizers and entrees. The ramen, curry, and daikon were all good quality. The only item that fell short on quality was the brussel sprout dish, being too greasy. Staff was great. When we arrived around 5:30 there were plenty of seats. The restaurant filled up quickly after that.

Hey awesome place for Asian food. We enjoyed it. Would recommend the Mongolian style and the sweet garlic wok rice dishes. Would go back again! The person who greets us seemed a bit lost, and for a couple of minutes we wondered how to make order. Felt like they could have guided us with how it works over there. But once the server came to take the order, it was quick. The server was good.

My fiancé and I made reservations for this spot after Picklesburgh and it was a really nice place. I loved the aesthetic and vibes of the restaurant. We both got a “dealers choice” mocktail and they were both very refreshing and delicious. We ordered Takoyaki as an appetizer and the peanut noodles as our main dish. The Takoyaki was delicious and super hot (not much octopus inside but good nonetheless). The peanut noodle was good as well but definitely different from what we expected and it packed a medium punch in terms of spice level. If we ever find ourselves in Pittsburgh again, we will definitely stop by again for more delicious drinks and delicious food!

So… I went to Picklesburgh where Yuzu had a station. It said there were pickle crab Rangoons, fried pickles, and chicken on a stick. Looking at the sign it was kinda pricey but I was optimistic they would be good… oh boy was I mistaken.
First off we got no pickle crab Rangoons the person in front of us got the last ones not Yuzu’s fault but still annoying considering there was still 3 more hours of picklesburgh it was strange they wouldn’t have brought more. The fried pickles tasted kinda off and for being PREMADE they were outrageously priced. I also got the chicken on a stick and it was ok… the pieces were very small and for the PRICE I was not impressed.
Overall I got 2 orders fried pickles and 2 orders of chicken on a stick. ACCORDING TO THE MENU it should’ve costed FORTY-FIVE dollars… but it actually cost SEVENTY DOLLARS. So either the menu lied or our person taking the order added something incorrectly.
There is some obvious GREEDY vendors at picklesburgh this year and I am deeply disappointed.
0/10 do not recommend!!

I always enjoy this restaurant and I find the food very good. My only disappointment with this visit is that our server did not check in and give us more water. A bottle is provided for the table but there were 4 of us and it didn't go far.

The food was awful, and the waitress staff needs training and uniforms.

My partner ordered the General Tso's, I ordered the Karaage Coconut Curry Ramen. My Ramen was okay, the noodles were authentic, al denté, but the chicken Karaage tasted exactly like a chopped up chicken strip from a fast food place, not true Chicken Karaage. The General Tso's was awful, the sauce is tangy and sweet, clearly based with Ketchup, and I was informed by our waitress it had cinnamon in it. Clearly this place hasn't taken a single second to research true American-Chinese cuisine, cause anyone with some traditional cooking in east Asian cuisine, would tell you that it shouldn't have ketchup or cinnamon in it.

They offered a free appetizer, so I picked the Char Su Boa Buns. Big mistake, it is a piece bacon in a Boa Bun (authentic seemingly, white and fluffy) and the menu says Cucumber is added, but actually it is sweet pickle rounds. That is not Char Su whatsoever. I can cook better than this place. But then again I have studied this cuisine well, and have my own recipes that actually mirror true authentic versions, also learned to cook from a chinese relative.

Our waitress, was wearing a white, plastic boned, corset with pants. The other staff also were wearing somewhat summery clothes, that were revealing. The only girl, in a somewhat acceptable top, was one in a flowery top, but the other girl was in a tube top. They were wearing short skirts/shorts, etc. Not appropriate for the atmosphere. Looked like strippers or eye candy.

And the waitress wasn't very personable, felt like she could have up-saled us on topping(s) for my ramen, at least. Just felt like she rushed from the table at times, even though it wasn't busy. Over all, half good service, but the food isn't authentic and clearly being cooked by someone who has no idea what east Asian cuisine is, or at least the dishes they have chosen to show case on their menu. Not worth the cost.

Had made a reservation for 8:30 and got a call asking to come in earlier since the kitchen closed at 8:50. Once everyone was sat they didn't take our order until 8:40. On my reservation we had stated that we were there for a birthday and I didn't even get a happy birthday. Then the server also barely spoke to us and started cleaning around us and flipping chairs making us feel rushed. We had to resort to hanging out outside since we felt so rushed and weren't finished enjoying our time with our group. We are a table filled with restaurant workers who understand wanting to go home but we also have been trained to not rush the customers no matter how late they made their reservations. Great food, terrible service.

Great ramen selection with good portions!! Service was super fast, got our food within 6 minutes of ordering! We enjoyed the seafood ramen, yuzu shio ramen, and wonton ramen (this one was a little bland). We also enjoyed the matcha cheesecake (though the portion was a little small).
