I've been a long time customer and always got good food, but recently It's being operated by a new group of people that I don't recognize. About a month ago I got shrimp fried rice and shrimp lo mein and they were both terrible. Rice was hard and the noodles were mush. Tried again yesterday and the same thing. Brought it back today and their remaking both right now. Tried them both in the parking lot before leaving. Better but not the quality of the previous owners. Also a slight odor of cat urine when entering the door. Overall a bad experience and unfortunately I won't be coming back.

When I first tried their food, it was decent, close to NYC spots. HOWEVER, I ordered 'Beef in Garlic sauce with pork fried rice no vegetables'.
My plate was beef with broccoli and huge green peppers with pork fried rice.
Came back the next day and explained there must have been an error and was hoping for a resolution.
The lady argued me down. I explained to her if I wanted beef with broccoli, then that is what I would have ordered. Beef in Garlic sauce is literally just that! She caught how stupid this is and insisted that I pick out the broccoli despite highlighting I didn't want vegetables. She offered no resolution for them trying to cut corners on dishes and kept on raising her voice.
Fast food is not cheap and secondly there's no Chinese takeout from everywhere in NYC to here that has tried to pull that stupidity off.
HIGHLY disappointed. For the last 3 years I'd normally go to them when craving the closest Chinese take-out but with that type of attitude and lack of addressing 'customer satisfaction' I'll never eat here again and highly recommend go anywhere but here. FYI... Best believe it's a sweatbox, no door open for fresh air, no ac or floor fan while you wait 20 minutes for 2 simple orders. Their spot has gotten worse and worse. They clearly don't value their customers go to the Chinese spot in Homewood, thank me later ;)

So….. I ate here only a couple of times. Today I brought my wife. My wife was blown away! This food is so good! They take care not to use a lot of sodium and the food taste really fresh and health, not overly greasy. It’s really good I’m honestly surprised. That veggie fried rice is my favorite right now. Give it a try!!!

I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken and Hot n Sour soup. The food was very good. The General Tso’s was actually spicy and not overly sweet and the soup was spicy and very good. They actually give you crispy noodles with the soup. I had the lunch portion and was very impressed. Another best kept secret.I highly recommend Zhen Choo.

Have been coming here for years. The General Tso, Sesame Chicken, and the Lo Mein are absolutely amazing. Egg rolls are on point. This may be a bold claim to some, but I would say that their sauce they make for their Sesame Chicken could rival PF Chang's Sesame. It's not the biggest place or fanciest (not even that actually matters) but the food that I've been ordering out of there for years is real deal restaurant quality. Love these folks. Keep serving up that awesome food just the way you do!
