Golden Star is an absolute gem! I stopped by on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly cooked food had me excited. I ordered the teriyaki beef sticks and sweet and sour pork, and wow—each bite was better than the last! The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned, while the pork was crispy and paired wonderfully with the tangy sauce.

The staff here are fantastic—super friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, they managed to keep everything running smoothly, and my food was ready in no time. The vibe is casual and laid-back, making it a great spot for a quick meal or a relaxed dinner.

I recently dined at Golden Star Chinese Restaurant in Pittston, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and the Pork Lo Mein, and both were cooked to perfection. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy sauce. The Lo Mein noodles were savory and full of fresh ingredients.

The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. It's rare to find such high-quality food at such great value! The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. My order was ready quickly, and everything was piping hot and freshly prepared.

The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. They also offer a convenient takeout and delivery service, which I plan to try next time!

We ordered the most simple dishes. The food was terrible. The egg rolls tasted like fermented cabbage. The rice was not fried it was just yellow with pieces of pork in it. The chicken with the sweet and sour chicken was the only thing that was edible, not good. Not to mention not getting our entire order. Stay clear of this place. Waste of money.

I am impressed with this place. MyFave which is hot and sour soup is made well here. One time it came a little different but for the most part it’s consistent. Everything on the menu is good honestly! I recommend.

Parking: Not a huge lot but never had an issue.
