“We had my Son & Daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner there on 10/10/2025 in their event space upstairs. We had the event room & outside patio for about 50 people. I live in Vermont and communicating with Chef Jimbo was a delight. He was quick to respond and offered suggestions and was very enthusiastic and helpful. Chef Jimbo went above and beyond to make this event special & memorable. The food was delicious south western style food and service was outstanding. All of our guests were raving about how delicious the food was. After dinner it became a welcome party for the Wedding guests in town - a most memorable & enjoyable evening. If I lived closer and had to host an event they would be #1 on my list.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
Lucky’s Craft Food and Drink is a great spot to grab a meal or drink while waiting for your flight at the Scranton Airport. The atmosphere is surprisingly cozy for an airport restaurant, with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff that make you feel welcome.
The menu has a nice mix of options — from hearty sandwiches and burgers to lighter bites and salads. The craft beer selection is a nice touch, and the cocktails are well-made if you’re looking to unwind before traveling. The food comes out fresh and with good portion sizes, which is more than you can say for many airport eateries.
Service is typically quick, even during busier travel times, and the staff is attentive without being rushed. Prices are a little on the higher side, but that’s expected for an airport location.
If you’ve got a layover or some time before boarding, Lucky’s is definitely worth a stop. It’s one of the better dining options in the terminal, offering a solid combination of good food, drinks, and service.“

“The food is sooooooooo good!! Try the cheese steaks, the quesadillas, the wings and everything else. You can't go wrong with this wonderful cooking!!“
“Not from the area, but Mom and I stopped in here for some quick drinks and snacks while passing by, on our way home from our latest adventure.Nice little spot. Seems like it's probably the horse in a one horse town. Seems like all the locals hang here, and it was pretty busy.Convenience store, hot food, cold beer, a gas station, and a car wash! They had my favorite Red Bull here, the juneberry one, which was awesome because it's hard to find since the end of summer because I think it was discontinued.I'm glad we stopped here too, because we discovered one tire was real low on air. The air pump we used in the back was soooo slow, but it ran forever, so it got the job done. On our way out we saw another newer air pump by the carwash that takes credit cards and everything. That one probably works better, I wish I noticed it at first.Anyways, the people at the counter were really nice. I'd stop here again if in the area, for sure!“

“Food was really good, bartender was great and place is the perfect size with a good atmosphere. Only downfall and it is a major one is people smoke inside the place which ruined it all. When my friends and I ordered bo one was there, we started eating then people came in and started smoking. Our food started tasting like an ash tray and our close stunk. I could not wait to get home and throw my clothes in the wash and take a shower. Food was great but my friends, I will not be going back and I can not reccomend this place simply because of the smoking. This place would have twice the business if there was no smoking.“
“awesome bartender anthony. good time anytime i go“
“Walked in on a Friday afternoon with my friends and the place wasn't very busy there were just a few people in there. The bartender was very attentive and was happily refilling our drinks right away. Stayed for a few hours and grab the six pack to go. The place was absolutely spotless. Would go back here again for sure.“

“Awesome place and one of my favorite Irish Pubs! Andy Gavin’s has the best Guinness draft in NEPA. Our server Frenchie was kind and provided quick service. I’d recommend this place to anyone on just the food and drinks alone but the service is also great too! 10/10“

“My go to bar for the last 40 years, friendliest atmosphere in any bar in town.Reasonable prices.Recently read some unfavorable comments about it, but people who would knock a place like this deserve to be ignored anyway.Wouldn"t waste my time going anywhere else.“

“Plains Pub is the friendliest bar that I have ever been to. It’s a truly family place. I live North of Montrose, 43 miles away, and am a cheesesteak fan and Scotch drinker I discovered the Pub in May and my 3rd time there, they knew my order before I ordered it I’m there every week now at least once I can’t speak highly enough of them“

“I actually really enjoyed this bar. It's definitely a smaller hole in the wall type establishment and can get very crowded but was a great time for my friends and I.What makes this bar get 5 stars however is the bartender. Even though he was incredibly busy he covered my Soda free of charge when he found out I was the designated driver. While $1 is practically meaningless to me, seeing him observe the position I was in and choosing to cover my drink even when I was happy to pay made this place stand out to me. Most people do not enjoy being the sober driver so the gesture really made an impression on me about what kind of establishment this was.“
“I would recommend fat Daddy's very much so great atmosphere reasonably priced but where the hell is the food for the past 26 weeks we've been promised“

“The wing bites are amazing and the penne vodka was delicious (I asked for mine to be spicy and it was nicely done). The portions are incredibly generous. The employees were kind and helpful with suggestions. The environment was great especially if your a sports lover (I am not) only downfall was no jukebox or pool table and you can't smoke or vape and thats understandable. I personally will be getting my pasta from there from now-on.....“

“What is the difference between tavern and bar? They both serve alcohol, but a tavern is more sophisticated with an “emphasis on the food.”
Town Tavern is a simple by nature, with a long bar and a rear seating area with tables and hi-tops. They keep the menu fairly simple by pub grub standards, with pizza, sandwiches and their next-level wings. As the definition says, an emphasis on food, in this case “the wings.”
Life is short. Tomorrow is never promised, so Eat the Wings! Enjoy yourself. If you consider them a guilty pleasure, you don’t deserve them. I would say “live deliberately” and try the Cajun or Sweet Thai Chili - my favorite two sauces. The wings come in orders of 10, but based on the size and quality of the wing, 10 is plenty. Would love to see a “fleet” of wings similar to beer tasting. Hard to choose from the 34 sauce flavors and six dry rubs.
The cost of the wings are listed on the menu as “market price.” Just like eating a lobster! Regardless of the current price, they are worth every penny.
I have seen a few reviews saying it takes too long. Please, if you want fast food, go to a place that serves it. If you want high quality - crispy wing on the outside and juicy on the inside, tossed in one of their beautiful signature sauces, wait for that level of preparation. Highly recommend a visit to the Town Tavern. An order of ten of their wings and a cold on-tap beer is truly one of life’s simple pleasure. Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think.“

“We went to the pub while stay at the hotel since it was close by. The food was AMAZING. Service was fantastic! Our server, Tiffany, was very attentive and kind. Made sure we had everything we needed during our entire dining experience. The prices are not bad either! Definitely would return again when in the area!“

“Love this place! It’s got that old-school neighborhood vibe where everyone feels welcome the moment you walk in. The bartenders are super friendly — they actually remember your name and your drink after a visit or two. Drinks are delicious, cheap, and always served with a smile. It’s cash only, but there’s an ATM right inside, so no big deal. Perfect spot to unwind, chat with locals, or just enjoy a laid-back night without breaking the bank. Definitely one of those rare, genuine spots that keeps the community feel alive.😁“
