The North End Tavern was a favorite hangout for locals and some Kings and Wilkes students in the 70s when I was nearly a regular. Great to see the place is still there and with the same name it had back then. I doubt if Frank is still bartending as he was probably in his 60s back then. Great spot to hang out and talk.
I drove past this little gem randomly and was pleasantly surprised. The bartender sandy, owner John, and some regulars I met were all very friendly. The pizza I had was very good. The establishment was clean and cozy. I am not from the area but I will return to this bar if I am.

Have not been here in years but there was a cook named Brad there he had the best wings and never tasted anything like his bread bowl Mac and cheese this kid new the kitchen I'll be back in town June 24 for work I'll be stopping in for sure for some of that Mac cheese
