My husband and I both got the 8 oz. Ribeye steak. It was excellent along with the curly fries and broccoli! A great place to have a perfect dinner!! Will definitely go back again!!

They catered our wedding this past Saturday and did a great job! They were prompt, friendly, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. We would recommend them for any event.

Parking: Even though the lot appears full, we always get a table. Parking is alongside and behind building.

I have to recommend Shawna if anyone needs a caterer. l just had my sons wedding catered by the Red Schoolhouse and everything was delicious and hot. Couldn't be happier with their service and Shawna and the staff are all very nice and accommodating. Also used their bar service. No complaints at all and sure anyone who uses them won't be disappointed.

I am so angry. I had a 100.00 gift certificate. I took a friend out for a lobster dinner. Because he did so much fir me. When we went to pay, they said their machine was down and couldn't except gift certificates. I didn't have the cash. I was flipping, but my friend had the cash and paid the bill. So now I owe him again. About 3 weeks later. I reserved a dinner. I asked and their machine was down. ARE YOU FING kidding me. I owned a restaurant, I would never allow this. My bill was 2.00 off, why do I have to wait for a machine. Something fishy. My friend who gave me the gift is pissed. Shame on you!!!! Hate going out to eat in PA. Food and customer service sucks!!!! I am not letting this slide. I will get my dinner or my friend will get her money back and will be my last visit to Red School House. Use to be one of my favorite places. I use to cater my parties from them ???

Hours are wrong!! Do not open till 4. Made trip for nothing.

First time trying this restaurant and was excited since I've heard from several friends it was a great place to eat. They definitely needed more help. Just one huge wait after another for drinks, orders, food, refills, bill. Salad bar was all empty with just scrapping in containers (did get filled finally after a while) Wings were tiny and dry. One of us got the haddock basket and they really liked theirs. It was packed there with people waiting to sit but there was just no one to even clean the tables so someone else could sit. Hope they get some help.

This is my regular dine out place. For a couple reasons, the bar and the pool table, the food and the general setting. I want to say it's almost comfortable. But it's a more laid back setting but not quite comfy. Alot depends on where you sit. There are 2 dining rooms, one is where the bar is, lottery machines and pool table, it's a more bar type setting, the other room next to it divided by a wall with windows, is just a dining room with a salad bar. It has a more restaurant setting. But I've never had a problem with my food. I've not absolutely loved it but I've always left satisfied. Some nights I go for date night and spend $70-$90 for 2 people. That includes 2-3 alcoholic beverages for both me and my partner. Maybe an appetizer. Other nights I go as a family of 4 and spend $50-70, that's dinner for 2 adults and a teen and a 7 year old. The place is suitable for children even though there's a bar. The table setting page has games on the reverse side. There are high chairs for smaller children. And if you're looking for a quick game of pool, there's a pool table in the bar room, but don't expect to play during busy hours because the tables are uncomfortably close and you WILL hit someone with your pool stick if it's packed. The room can get very cramped. So if you're going to have a few games, I would highly suggest you do it during their slow hours. Makes it much more comfortable. The food is good. So far my favorite dish is the prime rib. But I also enjoy the calamari, their sweet potato fries, rueben sandwich is also good. I've been there many times and out of everything I ate, the only thing that was disappointing was the clam strips basket. Nothing about the clam strips was enjoyable. It was rubbery and tasteless and I didn't even enjoy the breading. But everything else has been atleast satisfactory.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp up to the dining room. But it's a dirt parking lot. And I don't ever see an open handicapped spot. So idk if they even have one.

We have been comming to this place for at list 8 years. never had a major issue with food or service .today we had a reservation at 6:30. and been waiting for food for over an hour for 4 people with just one more table ahead of us in mostly empty place . 3 out of 4 ordered prime rib , I ordered scallops which I always do. I got 6 and a half tiny overcooked shrunk to nothing scallops and send it back asing not to cook them to death. Was told - this is the size of scallops they have and it's $2 a scallop??? Really ?? . Waitress never communicated if I want extra- I will have to pay $$ for a bigger then a tiny portion ? had to cancel my order and went home hungry . The best part - the manager did not really care about any of this after I talk to her. Shame- it use to be a good place to go for dinner

Great food, SUPER FRIENDLY service.

Food is always excellent, they have great specials daily. Bar area is usually busy too. The only downside is, several times while placing pickup orders, I have been asked to hold, to either be hung up on or not picked back up. I did express this to the manager, but same thing happened next time I called. BUT dining in is amazing, and the bar is a fun time too. I just think they get busy with the phone. Worth a call back!!
