Been going here ever since I was a kid, and you won’t find better people and service. Always a pleasure to go up and see everyone every week. The daily special is a great deal and a delicious pie. My friends from out of town go crazy for it every time they come visit. Couldn’t ask for a better family owned restaurant in our little town!
Their pizza is always good. This time I really wanted a hot roast beef sandwich with fries and gravy. WOW, amazing! From the Italian bread too the real roast and not just deli meat! Great!!!!

I’ve been eating this pizza for decades—I’m old now—and it’s one of my favorites. I’m a sweet-sauce, thin-crust (except if it’s Giordano’s, the best pizza in Chicago) fan, so that should give you a clue as to what I consider “great pizza.” This is great pizza! I can always count on PU Pizza being delicious (and consistently so) every time.
