Another less than stellar experience at Kalahari. đ Daughter got cookies and cream ice cream with marshmallows she said it tasted off. I got a mint shake and he got a strawberry shake however they were both vanilla shakes with pink and green coloring which was a comical discovery when my boyfriend that hates mint with a passion (wonât even use mint tooth paste) could suck down a giant gulp to say âthere is no mint in your mint shake, I can ever have it if you want to switchâ until he realized his was equally terrible and they both landed in the first hallway trashcan less than 10 feet from the place,lol. thank goodness were we all in good moods bc the overall disappointment of all things kalahari would of ruined the trip but we were in good spirits and had fun together so it was still worth it in the end to have time together.

Omgggg these apples are delicious. Each apple is perfectly crisp, generously coated in rich, buttery caramel, and often topped with creative additions like chocolate drizzle, crushed nuts, or candy bits. The balance of sweet and tart is spot on, and the presentation makes them just as beautiful as they are delicious. Whether youâre treating yourself or gifting someone, these caramel apples are soo good.

<First Time> We stopped by The Last Bite dessert shop inside Kalahari Resort during our stay and had a mixed experience. Ordering from the kiosk made the process quick and convenient, which was a nice touch. We tried a variety of ice cream flavorsâcookie and cream, strawberry, mint, vanilla, and chocolateâand they were all fine, but nothing extraordinary.
We also added some toppings, including caramel, marshmallow, sprinkles, and hot fudge. The hot fudge was a letdown, though. It wasnât hot or liquidy like expected, and instead, the staff scraped out the bottom of the container and poured it over my ice cream. It would have been better if they had just informed me that they were out of fresh hot fudge rather than giving me the remnants of an old batch.
Overall, the ice cream was decent, but the experience was a little disappointing due to the hot fudge issue. Still, the convenience of ordering through the kiosk and the variety of toppings made it a fun stop.

Our server was Necato, I am not sure how you hire someone who has no regards for others especially kids. We ordered our ice cream and asked to pay, she then ignored us and continue to serve others. I asked another server to let us pay and she said we have to wait on Necato, who contined to ignored us. Then a while later she signaled us to pay on the other side while she continued to walk away. Finally we paid and we complained to the the cashier who was smiling at Necato while listening to us. Great service, I see a bright future for you.
