Good in person, but canceled my DoorDash order for seemingly no reason during peak dinner time (not even close to closing)…
By far the best chipotle in the tri state area. Trust

And I finally found a Chipotle where the service was EXTREMELY friendly, the restaurant was NEAT AND CLEAN, and the EMPLOYEES were very kind. I would definitely go back and tell my friends to go to this restaurant

The workers were very slow and overly loud. I was waiting 30 minutes for an order that I placed to find out they didn’t even start it. It also smelled pretty bad in there. It’s safe to say I won’t be coming again.
Best Chipotle I have been to in a while. Their portion sizes are very good. The staff is also very pleasant. The manager was helping out his employees. You can tell the employees respected him as well.

Getting pricier and pricier. The amount of meat you get in your bowl is nothing compared to what it used to be. For some reason the Pottstown store does not taste the same as the Royersford location.

We have been frequently visiting this location since it opened, and I am generally a loyal fan of Chipotle. Unfortunately, this particular location has become increasingly frustrating.
To start, the level of customer service at the counter needs significant improvement. I understand that customer service can be challenging and that not everyone is naturally suited for it. I try to be patient and understanding. However, when the same issues occur repeatedly, it becomes clear that there is a larger problem. Eye-rolling in response to reasonable, personalized requests, visible annoyance when serving customers, and mumbling instead of communicating clearly in a loud, busy environment are all unacceptable. Basic manners and professionalism should be expected. If those standards are difficult for certain employees to meet, it may be worth reconsidering who is placed on the service line. I have over a decade of customer service experience, and attitude truly makes or breaks the experience.
Additionally, there is no excuse for a location to be out of all primary proteins on a Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. With a line extending to the door and after waiting roughly 20 minutes, we were told there was no barbacoa, carne asada, chicken, or steak available .. and that it would be another 20 minutes before any meat would be ready. This resulted in an entire line of understandably frustrated customers leaving. This is a failure in both preparation and communication.
This lack of communication appears to be a recurring issue. Whenever there is a limited-time menu item, we are never able to try it because the location has “run out.” Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, this is a preventable problem. When supplies are running low, staff should communicate proactively rather than waiting until everything is gone. I personally observed this lack of coordination during our visit.
Lastly, I witnessed behavior that was deeply concerning from a food safety standpoint. The individual working the grill appeared impaired and repeatedly touched his dirty pants, shirt, and hair (without a hair net) while wearing gloves, then proceeded to handle food without changing them. This was both alarming and unsanitary. We had planned to wait for our food, but after my husband pointed this out, we decided to leave.
Overall, I am very disappointed in the operations and management of this location. It would be beneficial to have a manager more actively present to evaluate workflow, reinforce food safety standards, and coach employees on providing a better customer experience. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that my experience is not isolated.
While not every visit has been negative and not every employee displays these behaviors, the issues occur far too often. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future customers.

Please teach your employees to make rice, the rice was very hard and undercooked. This is very sad for a chipotle.

I'm new at doordashing and one of the workers there today really took the time and helped me out so much. I'm so appreciative of that! I haven't had their food yet, but I'm definitely going to try it especially from this particular location. Thank you guys so much and keep doing what you do!

the portions are big and the food is super flavorful - but note that even if you say pick up in store, they will only have it to pick up in the drive through

I should have trusted the reviews. After having so many issues and complaints with this location I decided to give them another chance after taking a year off. Big mistake. I've learned to order light rice. We got two bowls of rice with a little meat, huge chunks in the guacamole and hard tomatoes. Another waste of $30. Next time I want Mexican food I'll get better and more food at an authentic Mexican restaurant right down the street or from Taco Bell. Don't waste your money at this location.
