Lovely little family owned place. After a study on Egyptian culture, I took my niece and nephew here for dinner. The food was delicious; soups were flavorful; main dishes were hearty and filling. Rice pudding was a wonderful treat! I couldn't leave without take home orders. Owners of the establishment were friendly and attentive. They even indulged us by answering questions about their home country. A very nice experience.
This place is awesome! It's small but puts out food with huge flavor. Everything I've had from Cleopatra has been perfectly seasoned and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend the lentil soup. While I planned to save half for later, it was so comfortingly spicy that I couldn't stop eating it.
If you are looking for an authentic Egyptian food, you will definitely be in the right place. The dining room is relatively small, yet food is tasty and tastes like home-made food. The lady there is very welcoming and friendly. She is a very talented cook and nice business owner. Food might take some time to be prepared, but you won't regret the wait time once you start eating.
