Coventry Parlor at Laurel Locks

They usually have good breakfast but today our omelet had burnt potatoes as evidenced by this picture. The peanut butter and jelly French toast was good though.

The ice cream was decent, but their lunch entrees were absolutely disgusting. My wife's chicken wrap was warm inside (including the lettuce) and had barely had a tablespoon of chicken in it. And my burger was lukewarm, the bun was stale, and the lettuce and tomatoes looked anemic. The one good thing that I can say is that the staff was friendly.

Short story. It's a decent place for ice cream, but don't buy any other food unless you're hungry for disappointment.

Lovely service from the ladies, many ice cream options, and satisfied with our delicious scoops. We didn't dine in, we sat outside. Plenty of seating available and we saw a screen for movies. Amazing place. First visit.

I randomly dropped in asking if they had super soft cookies. They didn't have any oatmeal raisin left like I was looking for so not only did they bake more so I could stop back, they made them super soft and set mine aside so they'd be ready and waiting on me. I appreciated them going above and beyond for me in a way that they didn't have to. My grandmother will love the cookies!!

A LOVELY place! The workers upfront were inviting, the milkshake was great. I saw fresh soup being stocked and took home chicken noodle. It was a great addition to my dinner later. I will be going back more and all should try!

The ice cream is pretty tasty. The shop has a very decent selection of goods: made to order, grab-n-go, and a cooler with drinks and treats. Coventry Parlor falls short in the service category. If you show up a half an hour before closing, they don’t want to do very much. We were denied two milkshakes because it was within a half hour of closing. We were the only two customers in the parlor period. The board said no milkshakes 20 minutes before closing if there is a long line. We didn’t want to argue with the girl but it was disappointing.

Parking: Smaller parking lot is located in front of the business.

Kid-friendliness: There is a large swath of land with picnic tables perfect for the kids to get their energy out after their ice cream treat.
