Cup of Joy Cafe Smoothie, Acai Bowls, Cofee and More

First time in the stores that are 2 in 1 thought it was actually a good idea. IT has some good items that are really inexpensive and I could have bought a lot more than I did but I was actually broke.

We love a good smoothie and bowl place but this was very disappointing. My daughter got a strawberry banana smoothie which didn’t taste like any fruit in it and was inedible. Avocado toast, ordered one piece, charged and given two. Drenched in some type of salad dressing which was gross. 2 bowls, a smoothie, Avacado toast and a coffee was $70. Its also in a dollar store so atmosphere for eat in is uncomfortable at best. I typically only leave good reviews but feel my experience was very different than the other reviews here so felt the need to review

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a smoothie when we're in the area visiting my daughter and her husband, we were not disappointed. The owners were very friendly and I think it's one of the best smoothies I ever had. I enjoyed the Pink smoothie and my boyfriend had the chicolate protein which I did taste and it reminded me of a dessert. I only wish they had a Cup of Joy in Lancaster. We definitely will go back for another smoothie.

The smoothly bowl with coconut was nasty but they did give me a smoothie to make up for it but that wasn’t that good either but the avocado toast was good. I highly recommend Playa Bowls.

First time here, I was a little hesitant not sure what to expect walking in this business. Best way to describe it at first is toast, smoothies and postcards.
That being said, what nice little place, this is a family owned establishment along with three other locations and what a great menu! This is organic gluten-free vegan and no sugar added. I love the transparency of the menu. I met Arti one of the family members. She was a very nice person to talk with, and their vision is to offer nothing but healthy foods, and she was adamant about what we put into our bodies. I love that I ordered two menu items one slice of avocado toast served on 21 grain organic bread with fresh, sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, baby arugula, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. This was done perfectly just the right amount of toppings and I also ordered the hummus toast. Served on the same bread with cherry tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, and zaatar seasoning. These both were done perfectly in addition to that I had a peanut butter, dark chocolate smoothie which had banana dark raw cocoa powder, homemade peanut butter and almond milk. This also was perfect. I like the fact that it’s unsweetened, which really makes the dark chocolate stand out.
I love small businesses like that and try to support them as much as possible because they have so much invested in what they do. I find that family owned businesses put in more effort to serve the best product possible as if they were serving themselves that speaks volumes. Thank you for a great meal. I can’t wait to get up here to try the sprouts sandwich next!

This is the ultimate surprise within a dollar store.

Truly the most incredible smoothies and bowls around. They also offer sandwiches and other small snacks.

They’re very accommodating of moderations to orders.

Went here for coffee. Coffee was hot and delicious! We sat in the cafe to talk and enjoy our coffee and I deducted one star for atmosphere. While we were sitting there, the cafe filled orders for smoothies or frappes (I’m not sure what) and the machine was so loud that we could not talk while the machine was running. This happened about 3 times while we were sitting there.
