I got lost trying to navigate without navigation and I ended up right in front of restaurant I figured must be a sign lol. So I went in.. Great experience all the way around. Very welcoming environment.

Most years we have had great service on our Christmas Eve hibachi. 2025 was a bit different... they must have been short of help that night. We were seated immediately and sat at our table for 45 min, asking for water, plates, silverware and taking our order. Other parties arrived after us and were served an eating before we ordered

The expectations weren’t met. I ordered take out, 2 entrees and a kids meal, the photo shown below is the kids meal that doesn’t include vegetables, soup or salad. We spent over $80 on all 3 meals and were left disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. I expected the price will match the quality but I’m just left with the thought that we were ripped off.

This place is a rip off. They charge way more than the serving is worth. More salty than flavorful. And to top it off it was just myself and my 2 children we didn’t eat at the habachi side we sat at a regular table I ordered habachi and one ordered a $15 kids meal that didn’t even include the drink and the other a sushi roll with a side of rice. They took a $73 bill and added a 15.50 tip on top of the sales tax. Service sucked and definitely isn’t worth the 21% markup. The lady came took Our order and we sat there watching our sushi roll sit for over 10 minutes before she brought it to the table. I could’ve gotten up and grabbed it myself… My daughter’s chicken fingers off the kids meal came cold And the hibachi was really salty with a very small portion for $36 Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else Sakura up the road is way better flavor quality and very good portions. You would expect it to be better service when there was only one other party in the entire restaurant. Never again

I used to absolutely love coming here! But year after year it gets worse. The owners attitude (the gentleman) is awful and ignorant. The chef made the night, he was funny and engaging, but the food lacked flavor and the portions have gotten a lot smaller. The chicken was stringy and chewy. It's a shame because it used to be a fun birthday tradition. You ask for refills from the gentleman and he ignores you or gives attitude, the lady is a sweetheart and does her best.

Wow. Where do I begin?
Upon our arrival it was quiet, we were seated right away and most of the staff was attentive, but extremely unprofessional.
We arrived around 8pm and requested hibachi. Our chef was nice, but during our time there he flipped off one of the other staff during the show. There were 3 other guests who were sat with us and it was very clear they were regulars. Making racist comments towards the Japanese chef, and the chef took the comments relatively well but it definitely ruined my entire experience.
At one point, one of the guests sitting at our table made a comment about the other buying the restaurant, in which case, we will definitely not be returning. Again, the food was delicious but if the man sitting across from me has plans on becoming the owner, I will never support this business.

Dear Fujiyama Management,

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident I witnessed at your restaurant. During my recent visit, I observed the supervisor speaking to employees in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner directly in front of customers. We were in the middle of enjoying a nice show and she abruptly interrupted and said something to chef causing that the enjoyment stopped for all of us and including the chef this is no professional not nice al all

This behavior not only creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for diners but also undermines the employees’ dignity and the restaurant’s professional image. As a paying customer, I expect a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

I respectfully request that this matter be addressed to ensure a more professional and respectful work environment for your team, and a more pleasant dining experience for your customers.

Thank you for your attention to this concern. I look forward to seeing improvements during future visits.
