High Street Steaks

This place was the only place in the area to eat... They have only two vendors that serves Spanish food and soul food.. I ordered a jerk chicken and it tasted like a fake steak because it had Worcershire (spelled wrong) sauce on it and it was salty.. The only thing I liked was that it was spicy but it was butt burning spicy ... it's a bit gloomy in there and the tables rock...I VISITED THIS TOWN TO SEE A RELATIVE..I TRAVELED AWHILE TO GET THERE SO I WAS HUNGRY.. I GOOGLED A PLACE TO EAT AND HIGH STREET STEAKS CAME UP BUT IT WAS HIGH STREET TERMINAL(CONFUSING). BUT WHEN I WENT INSIDE THERE WERE ONLY TWO VENDORS SERVING FOOD. I DID NOT COMMENT ABOUT STEAKS I COMMENTED ON THE VENDORS THAT ARE IN THIS TERMINAL AND APPARENTLY HIGH STREET STEAKS IS REPRESENTATIVE OF HIGH STREET TERMINAL.. IF YOU DON'T WANT A REVIEW ABOUT THE TERMINAL REMOVE YOUR BUSINESS FROM HIGH STREET TERMINAL. HOPE THIS CLARIFIED WHAT I REVIEWED. ENJOY LIFE

The hoagies are excellent I think for the price the roll should have big bigger, and the French fries needs to be a full container for $4 something. Service is great the owner is great. Also as a food service manager I think the staff needs hair nets on.

Excellent service from miss Candice. Food was amazing every time. The bacon cheddar fries always cooked perfect, the buffalo sauce was great and I love this establishment!

Kid-friendliness: The smile face tot makes it very fun for kids haha

Good place to get a cheesesteak if you're craving one in-town! They do tend to be on the slower side though - so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes for your food, even if it isn't too busy.

This is my new favorite hoagie place. So at first wasn’t feeling the bread but this past week I got my favorite hoagie “The Italian” and it was so good and the bread was so soft. Their bread is definitely great for the cheesesteaks which I haven’t tried yet but I did have the Chicken Bites, Cheesesteak Eggrolls, and the hoagie. My child loves the chx bites - which I also approve! The hoagie has THEEEE BEST INGREDIENTS! The cheese is so sharp & flavorful yum (and I don’t even like cheese) each meat has its distinctive flavor so the overall taste is blended so well! Listen!! I love a good Italian hoagie and it’s impossible to find them! The only other place I could compare would be Monsanto when it was on high street. I highly recommend the hoagie and you can’t beat their prices! So reasonable. Good Crab fries & love the tots and the cool shapes they come in. They also have great drink choices too - even for the children! Lastly, the staff is always so pleasant and personable! Definitely support this local business!! I can’t imagine you wouldn’t enjoy it. ?

This place is quickly becoming a favorite local establishment of mine. The chicken bacon ranch cheese steak is so freaking good. Haven't had a bad sandwich from here though. Glad we have a solid steak place here in pottstown and I hope they're here to stay.

Amazing spot! Very clean and cute to sit and eat with family or a date! I had the buffalo chicken cheesesteak which was absolutely amazing!!! My father had an Italian hoagie and he loved it as well. 5/5 definitely will be coming back! Thank you :)

First time ordering from High Street Steaks after seeing the rave reviews online. It did not disappoint! Food was incredible, the staff was very friendly and the service was top notch (and quick!). I will be back ?

My husband wanted to surprise me for lunch with a cheesesteak from high street steaks but unfortunately when he called to check the hours, they were opening a bit after when my lunch was. The owner actually called him back and said she would come in 15 minutes early to make his order!!!!! It was the BEST cheesesteak I ever had!!!! I want to thank you for your great food and superior customer service! We will be back!!!!!

Just finished my dinner or cheesesteak and crab tots. THE TOTS ARE TETRIS SHAPED!!!! ? my son got a turkey hoagie and tots. Not a single complaint! The best cheesesteak I have had in quite a while! The food was excellent. The two ladies working in the restaurant were a pleasure to order from! Excellent service, personable, kind, and just really made my ordering experience amazing. I'll be back soon!

Just discovered this place today. I'm very glad I did. The food was great and the fact that you can get the cheese steaks in a bowl is amazing for a low carb option. Will definitely be going back.

Came up from out of state and enjoyed everything. Tots were good (if oddly shaped), perogies, cheesesteaks, and pork sandwich were tasty as well.Staff was incredibly nice to us too even with how busy they were. Grabbed us hot sauce and ketchup and were patient with our questions.Note that the regular pierogies don't come with sour cream, only the loaded which come in larger amounts. I have an order of three regular pictured and asked for some on the side.I will say that the seating area is a little funky if you're looking to dine in. They have some counter space, small two person outdoor tables, and a larger shared seating area inside. This was decent but the restaurant in the shared space was filling the whole place with smoke.Parking in the municipal lot across the street was also easy but you do need an app to pay.

Very inconsistent. We got 2 cheesesteaks and 2 egg rolls from here. 1 cheesesteak was really good, meat chopped well with cheese melted throughout and not fatty meat. Other cheesesteak was quite gross. Meat wasn’t chopped at all the cheese was just melted onto the top of the sandwich and every bite was gross fatty meat that made me gag. I even added a photo of one of the huge grizzly pieces. Eggrolls were decent but small for $4 a roll. The wrapping was a little burnt and chewy as well.If you end up with a good cheesesteak then I recommend but I don’t understand why we got 2 cheesesteaks at the same time in the same order completely different from eachother. So it’s a roll of the dice apparently. I called to let the workers know and the lady just said thanks for telling us…
