Me the wife and in-laws went in for dinner yesterday. Veronica waited on us and what a personality!! One of the best nights we had out in a while. She made dinner fun. The food was also excellent but that’s no secret there. Hilltop is awesome!

Emilio is a wonderful cook and person. The staff is cordial. The atmosphere is always a feeling of nostalgia from a time of hotrods and blue jeans.

Our California Cheeseburgers were so good and we loved the fries. We enjoyed the ice cream as well. The waitress there was the best. We loved her sense of humor and she was very nice as well as down to earth. It was our first time there and we're glad we stopped on our way to the thrift store.

Food was very good and pricing was reasonable and the fries were delicious. The service was great and you could tell both servers enjoy what they do, the restaurant is nice and has a vintage feel with good music playing.

A group of four of us stopped for lunch here one Thursday.
Food is pretty good. Nothing fancy but very reasonably priced.
The highlight was our server. She was hilarious. You could tell she loves her work and her guests.
We'd come back just for the fun!

Food was average diner food. Larger portions but average taste. On Tuesdays they are open until 9pm which was RUDLY made very obvious to us by the waiter during the middle of our meal at 8:45 after waiting 40 minutes for our food and 10 for waters and a sprite. During the process of ordering a customer asked for coffee and the servers complained about having to make another pot. Goes to show how willing this diners employees are to help out the customers. Rude waiter/waitresses to my experience is usually a sign of poor compensation. I know it’s not a local demographic to tip poorly so it must be an issue with the businesses compensation to the workers due to the fact that it hasn’t been the first time this has happened here! Because of this I fail to consider the fact that the cooks are to act any more appropriately than anyone else in this business. Im just praying now that nobody gets sick from our meals.

Amazing staff, great prices and selection. I got the buff chick cheesesteak with fresh cut fries. Absolutely yummy and affordable. Got some ice cream for dessert. No AC, but it wasn't too hot inside on a 98° day.
