I'd say it was a typical diner experience. It was basically greasy-spoon type of food. The food tasted very decent. Service was rendered by a very pleasant lady. Fairly extensive menu. Burgers and cheesesteaks are their recommended dishes. Indeed, I enjoyed the cheesesteak very much.
I used to go here as a kid and then took my kids here when they were little. I decided to go back this weekend as a memory. It is under a new owner. They are very friendly and kept coming out to all the customers asking how everything was which was very kind. I had a cheesburger which was real hamburger meat and the roll was so soft it melted in my mouth. I lieterally felt my eyes roll when i ate it. 100 percent great and highly recommend. Me the wife and in-laws went in for dinner yesterday. Veronica waited on us and what a personality!! One of the best nights we had out in a while. She made dinner fun. The food was also excellent but that’s no secret there. Hilltop is awesome!
