Just finished up with our anniversary dinner here, and everything was excellent. Server was attentive, championship duck and Chilean sea bass were superb. Everything we tried was fresh and well crafted. Nicely done! We'll be back.

My husband surprised Me with beautiful quiet celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary and the service, cocktails, food, atmosphere, service far exceeded expectations even after reading the great reviews.. THE LADY IN FRONT TELLS ME THAT I AM NOT ABLE TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY DINNER BECAUSE THEY OVERBOOKED. NOW I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE AND WAS HYPING STAVE UP. BUT TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT THE LADY SAID THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HONOR MY RESERVATION. WOW. AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY I RECEIVED A TEXT AN HOUR AGO TO SAY THAT MY RESERVATION WAS CANCELLED. WOW. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Had a wonderful dinner at Stave and Stable tonight with my husband. Adorable and classy…we shared a salad with goat cheese and a wonderful balsamic dressing…I had an amazing tender filet and my husband the salmon..and my birthday cheesecake dessert with a cup of espresso…our server Gwen was so attentive and professional…all around a great night! Highly recommended

Took a chance on a Friday night during a car show weekend to eat at the place, and we got a table and the food did not disappoint! The apps were delightful and finally some flavors and textures different from what I was expecting. As a main we got steak ; tender and cooked to perfection. Scallop risotto; with a surprise of large clumps of crab. And carbonara, plated wonderfully and flavorful. I’m upset we didn’t stay for dessert cause the attentive waitress (who was also a great mixologist) was describing it to another table and it sounded deeeelish. Coming all the way from NYC where we have been to plenty restaurants, Stave and Stable was a great and scrumptious surprise. 10/10

It’s such a small upscale place with absolutely amazing atmosphere and phenomenal food. It is truly a gem to find in Pottstown. I will be back ! 10/10 but it’s a small place so MAKE RESERVATIONS! :) very worth it .

My parents took my brother and I here for our birthday. I cant typically say a restaurant hit all the marks but this place did. I rarely eat out and when I do, enjoy a higher end experience. However, not many places seem to deliver across the board. Our table was for 6 and every appetizer, craft drink, entree, and surprise desserts that they offered on the house hit every single note. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommend the elk chop or duck.

This was my second visit to Stave and Stable, and though my first visit left me raving, tonight unfortunately was a let down.
On my first visit, I was blown away by the cocktails—creative, perfectly balanced, and thoughtfully executed. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and elevated without being overbearing. While the food wasn’t quite on par with the drinks, it was still enjoyable enough to justify the price point at the time.
Tonight, I returned with high expectations, especially excited to try the Maryland seafood boil. Sadly, it fell short on multiple levels. Every component of the seafood was overcooked, and the overall dish lacked seasoning and depth. No butter, no sauce—nothing to elevate the flavors or do the ingredients justice. For a restaurant of this caliber, especially so close to Maryland and the coast, it felt like a missed opportunity.
Cocktails, again, were the saving grace. Even when ordering classic, off-menu drinks, the bartenders nailed it. Truly impressive craftsmanship.
I would absolutely return for the bar and maybe a cheeseboard. But I cannot justify a meal here any more.
When life gets busy and you need time to connect, Stave and Stable is our first call. Thank you for another fun evening of outstanding food, service, and connections. Stave is as good for the soul as it is for the appetite. We will see you again soon.

We have loved every meal at Stave & Stable! We've visited for three different occasions in the past month alone and I have to tell you that their cuisine and service are impeccable! Whether you're attending one of their special events (Blues, Brews, & BBQ, Tapas Night, Mother's Day Brunch, Pasta Night, and more) or seeking a unique fine dining atmosphere, you will NOT be disappointed! The food is prepared to perfection alongside hand-crafted cocktails that are some of the best we've ever tasted! We've tried everything from their special Mother's Day Brunch menu to BBQ to the elk and steak signature dishes. I recently sent my parents there in celebration of their 50th anniversary. They raved about the mouth-watering She-Crab bisque, halibut entree, and rack of lamb (my dad's favorite). The cook on the protein is always spot-on and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch! Do yourself a favor and reserve a table for your next meal out! You'll be so glad you did! Kudos to Conrad, Chef Hiram, and Annette for creating such an incredible dining experience in the heart of Pottstown!
