Service is lacking unless you’re a regular. Took way too long to order and pay the bill. The soup was far better than my meal. I had Snapper soup and the open face, hand carved roast beef with mashed potatoes. Beef was cold, mashed and gravy was room temp at best. The fish and chips that my dining companion had was very good. For a place that boasts about their roast beef, it wasn’t great. Could be a cool, old school place to go but missed the mark.

This place has always been one of our favorites. They have a wide variety of things to choose from,prime rib,crab stuffed mushrooms,hand carved slow cook beef,pork sandwich (it's better than college ville ),turtle soup and so so much more. Two things not to miss: Home made birch beer in a frosted mug, and sliced to order roast beef sandwich. I get the same darn thing every time I go because it’s so good. The atmosphere is nothing special but the locals are friendly. My bodies and I go regularly.
