Typical country bar with above average food. If you're not a local, don't expect any attention. Upon entering for lunch while traveling for work, I'm served my drink and menu fairly quickly. After that, forget it. It took another 15 minutes to take my order, a roast beef sandwich. The sandwich is carved in 5 minutes, but 30 minutes after arriving, I'm staring at my sandwich, which has been sitting there ready for 15 minutes now. Do they not know people need...

This spot was suggested by a local and boy it did not disappoint! My boyfriend said his French onion soup was "the best I've had in a LONG time". Our whole group got burgers and all were solid - well made, well cooked, good toppings. My patty melt was incredible. Decor is English pub meets late 70s wood obsession. Staff was friendly and meals came out quick. Definitely don't sleep on this spot.
