Not bad at all for what you pay. Prices are great and they make the burger patties fresh every morning. They chili could definitely be better as it is not very flavorful.

I usually don’t leave a review for a place I didn’t enjoy but with all the positive reviews, I figured this place would be great. The atmosphere is nice with a cool arcade in the back with some great classic games for only 50 cents.👍🏻 I had the everything dog and I have to say the chili was nothing more than ground beef and totally unseasoned. I didn’t think it was possible to make a bad hotdog but apparently I was wrong. The staff all seemed very friendly though. I have worked for many restaurants over many years and I have never seen a vent hood screen so caked with grease 😱 there is no way that thing was cleaned. It didn’t get that dirty in the few hours they were open before I came in. Definitely a fire hazard and it is the 1st thing a guest will see when they enter. From what I understand, this place is an institution in Pottstowns history? You have to do better for yourselves and the town.

I was born and raised in Reading Pa. and if you're from Reading you knew the place to go for dogs and burgers was Crystal Palace on 6th Street.
when they closed it left a hole in my heart 😔
fast forward to today andy wife and I stumbled upon The very best Weiner shop in Pottstown!
let me tell you, the name does not lie!

The name of the place is misleading. It was my first time visiting the place and I decided to try out the hot dogs and I was definitely disappointed. The hot dogs are not all beef it tasted like chicken or chicken and pork blend. The hamburger and chili was good. I love the arcade room and the pinball machines in the back and the old jukebox for only 25 cents a song. The name says the very best weiner shop implying they have or should have good hot dog not chicken dogs. I like all beef or beef and pork dogs.
