I have never had a bad meal from this place. The staff is so friendly and the food is always delicious.
The decor is like going back into the fifties. It is such an elegant place to have a nice quiet meal, especially in the wintertime when they have their fireplace lit.

It's a nice family owned comfortable old school place to unwind. Around is a old mining town and it has survived inspite of what has happened to the area around. Served stuffed chicken whitch was so tender.

We love the Blu Tavern. The eggs Benedict is my favorite. Best breakfast we’ve found in Schuylkill county.

It took an hour and a half to receive our food. Food was a carribean shrimp salad and french dip sandwich not very complicated. Shrimp salad for 15.95 had a total of 5 small burnt to a crisp black shrimp.Certainly not worth the wait or the price. Sandwich was ok .Had not been there in years and certainly will not be going back anytime soon.

Food takes time, so only go here if you are not in a rush but oh my goodness was it worth the wait. I have celiacs and they accommodated to my allergy with so much care. Got moscow mules to drink, delicious. Shrimp Cocktail and Potato Skins for Appetizers, INCREDIBLE. My side caeser salad before dinner was good and flavorful. And then gluten free spaghetti with meat sauce, top tier and a ginormous portion. Highly impressed and certainly will be back. Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service. I am upset I hadn’t come here sooner.

Give yourselves time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, the food is worth waiting for, you can taste the love put into it. A busy Restaurant equals Fresh food. If you want fast food, go to a Big Box establishment, otherwise appreciate the quality put into every plate. Never disappointed, always full and happy. Priced reasonably considering the time it takes to make it fresh to the table. Make a Reservation and time to enjoy. 🤌

After waiting over an hour and a half for our food it still wasn't done. No communication from the staff. It takes a lot to make me get up and leave.. especially when I already have about 2 hours invested.. but the non-communication and couldn't care less attitude did the trick. Avoid this place.

Was waiting for up to 30 minutes for drinks, servers and bartenders were extremely rude and miserable, food wasn’t really good either, their chicken is horribly dry

I would give 0 stars if I could. We waited 2 1/2 hours for food and it never came out. People came in after us and were severed. Manager never came over to our table. We paid for our drinks and left. Waitress checking us out was very rude…Would not recommend anyone ever waste money on that place. It is really run down on top of everything!

I understand it was New Years. But to wait 3 1/2 hours for food was ridiculous. Food was good, service was extremely bad. It will be a while before I go there again
